Transport to the polling stations for people with disabilities

For the day of the vote the Municipality of Milan organizes a free service for the transport of people with disabilities.

  • The service consists of accompanying the user to the voting center and returning them to their home.

Who is the service aimed at?

To access the service it is necessary to have a disability certificate issued by the ATS, even issued previously and for other purposes, make a copy of it and show it, together with an identity document, to the driver of the public bus.

Upon returning, the user must give the driver a copy of the disability certificate with the stamp and signature of the President of the polling station where he voted.

If the request concerns a non-ambulant person, they will also be able to use the seats set up in electoral offices without architectural barriers. In this case, a further copy of the disability certificate will be required, to be delivered to the President of the polling station.
