Offices without architectural barriers

Voters and non-ambulatory voters registered in polling stations located in buildings that are not accessible via wheeled seats can vote in any other municipal polling station set up in a building without architectural barriers.

Located on the ground floor and recognizable thanks to specific signs, the barrier-free offices are equipped to facilitate voters and non-ambulant voters in voting in absolute secrecy.

Documentation to be submitted

To be able to vote in barrier-free locations, in addition to the voter card, non-ambulant people must present:

  • a medical certification issued by the ATS also previously and for other purposes
    or
  • a certified copy of the special driving license.

This documentation must demonstrate the impossibility or severely reduced ability to walk.
