Those who go to vote in their municipality of electoral registration can take advantage of the travel concessions applied by bodies or companies that manage transport services.
 

Reimbursement of travel expenses for those coming from abroad

Reimbursement of travel expenses incurred by those returning to Italy to express their right to vote is provided exclusively in cases where voting abroad is impossible due to a lack of institutional agreements.

• In these cases, the reimbursable amount amounts to 75 percent of the travel expenses
• to obtain a refund you must submit an application to your consular office, accompanied by the electoral certificate and the travel ticket.

For those who choose to vote in Italy having the possibility of voting by post from abroad, no type of refund will be provided.
