Accompaniment to the voting booth

Voters and voters with serious disabilities can ask to be accompanied inside the voting booth.

For your request One-off, valid for a single consultation, simply download and fill out the attached form and submit it to:

  • Electoral office
    via Messina, 52/54
    opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 8 to 30 and from 12 to 00
    - the service can be accessed freely, without the need for an appointment
     

How to obtain the permanent right to be accompanied to the cabin
It is also possible to request the Municipality to put a stamp on the electoral card certifying the permanent right to use this service.

To obtain the stamp affixing you need:

  1. have the medical certificate issued by the competent ATS which certifies the impossibility of exercising the right to vote independently (see in Attachments the list of offices that can issue the certificate)
  2. download and fill out the attached form and submit it to:

    - the service can be accessed freely, without the need for an appointment
  • for blind people it is sufficient to show, in addition to the original electoral card and a valid identity document, the nominative pension booklet issued by INPS or the report of the Single Health Commission for the assessment of visual conditions.
     

Request by proxy

In both cases it is possible to submit the request through a delegated person in possession of:

  • delegation (on plain paper)
  • photocopy of a valid identity document of the interested party
  • original voter card of the interested party
  • health documentation issued by the competent ATS.
