The electoral card is the essential document for:

• exercise the right to vote, if presented at the polls together with a valid identity document
• obtain the discounts reserved for electricians and voters on the cost of travel tickets
• exercise assisted voting, i.e. be accompanied to the polling station.
   

Who does not have a voter card because:

• He hasn't picked it up or received it yet
• he lost it
• has run out of voting slots

you can go to the Electoral Office or any registry office, without having to make an appointment.
