Check the status of the case

Connect to the platform used to request a change of residence:

• for those coming from another municipality
• for changes of address within the Municipality of Milan

and checks whether the procedure is "completed" or "processed".

• Completed
  - means that the change of residence has not yet occurred
  - "Completed", in fact, refers to the insertion of your request, not to its receipt by the registry office
   
• Escaped
  - the request has been registered in the registry office and your change of residence is underway
  - attention: Registration at the registry office is not always associated with registration on the electoral lists: updating the electoral lists requires additional time.

If the change of residence is processed

1. access the Citizen's File via SPID or CIE
2. check in the section Electoral data if you have been assigned a new polling station (in case of change of address) or if your electoral card number is present (in case of change of residence from another Municipality).

If the "voter card" item does not appear or if the old voting section is indicated, it means that the updating of the electoral lists has not yet taken place.

• In the first case, you need to do a further check on your position
• in the second, you can go to vote in the section connected to the old address.
