Car sharing

Milan has the largest Car Sharing service in Italy, one of the most competitive in Europe, launched in 2001 with a pilot project and present today with five operators: Enjoy, E-Go, ShareNow, Zity and E-Vai.

The city of Milan won the prestigious award in 2020 "International Carsharing City Award" in the category metropolitan, a global competition that rewarded the cities that stood out most for having introduced and maintained a Car Sharing system in their city over time.

Why is Car Sharing convenient?

  • There are no purchase and maintenance costs
  • there are no stamp duty costs and insurance policies
  • no more parking spaces, boxes or garages are needed
  • vehicles enter freely into Area B and Area C and park for free in the yellow and blue lines. 

Registration for the service takes place via the website and/or via the manager's App.

  • The service includes both the fixed location and free-flow formulas
  • as for cars, the fleets are also electric.
