General Protocol and Municipal House

Il General Protocol receives the documents addressed to the Municipality of Milan which, after having registered them, transmits them to the competent offices.

La Town hall preserves and safeguards the copies intended for the notification of documents that judicial officers, municipal messengers, tax collectors, special messengers and police bodies are unable to notify because the recipients (persons, companies and bodies) are not found.

As established by resolution no. 1568/2012 (see attached conservation plan title 1, point 6) the conservation period of the deposited copy is two years, after which it will be discarded. To find documents no longer available at the Municipality of Milan, the citizen must contact the body that issued the original provision.
