Entrance to the farm is free.
The company has an agricultural shop with direct sales where it is possible to buy beef, raw and cooked ham and excellent cheeses such as Branzi, Gorgonzola, Toma, Montecorna, fat and lean Taleggio.
Next to the farm is the "Acquatica" amusement park.
Cascina Colombera follows the imagery of the classic country farm. Located within the Southern Agricultural Park, it is the largest in the ancient village of Quinto Romano. It is located in an environmental context of great interest which represents a large green lung of Milan thanks to the presence of large urban parks and historic farms.
The closed courtyard structure, dating back to the 800th century, is surrounded by sixty hectares of fields cultivated with corn, barley and wheat and is home to two hundred Charolaise and Limousine cattle. Barnyard animals such as capons, geese and ducks are raised on the ground and it is often possible to see them roaming free.
Since 1956 the farmhouse has been rented to the Verga family, owners of the Verga Alessandro agricultural company.
The company was once called "Cascina del Maino", from the name of its owners, ancient Milanese nobles from the 12th century.
