The news of the week
Milan, 12 October - Area B: from 15 October the limited traffic zone will be restored, surrounded by 187 gates which, by gradually and progressively prohibiting access to older vehicles responsible for the most polluting emissions, allows for the demarcation of an area with low emissions harmful to health and the environment.
Furthermore, regulated extra-tram parking is reactivated in areas 8, 25, 31, 34, 35, 36, 38, 42, 43.

Culture: two all-female exhibitions open to the public:
• “Frida Kahlo - The Chaos Inside”: from 10 October at the Fabbrica del Vapore. It is a technological sensorial journey to immerse yourself in the life of the great Mexican artist, exploring her artistic, human and spiritual dimensions. A dive into the culture of Mexico and the popular art of the American country, through the story of one of the most significant women of the last century.

• “Carla Accardi. Contexts”: from 9 October at the Museo del Novecento. A true retrospective dedicated to the first internationally recognized Italian abstract artist, who passed away in 2014.
The project is part of the "The talents of women" program and proposes multidisciplinary initiatives - from visual arts to various forms of live entertainment, from letters to the media, from fashion to sciences - dedicated to women protagonists in the arts and creative thought.

Linate: 6 thousand euros allocated for the sixth edition of the award in memory of the 118 victims of the accident. The competition, open until January 31st, will include degree or doctoral theses discussed at all Italian universities in the period between October 1st 2018 and September 30th 2020 on the topic of air transport safety.
