The news of the week

Milan, 5 October  - Off campus Freight: inaugurated inside the covered market on Viale Monza, a space to bring the University closer to the neighbourhood.
The campus was born from the collaboration between the Administration and the Polytechnic and will allow teachers, researchers, students of the University, together with the inhabitants and associations, to develop innovative teaching activities, responsible research and co-planning for the benefit of the community and of the development of the area.

After school: registrations from 2 October, start of activities from the 26th. From the end of the month the so-called evening games will be operational, in order to ensure that the resumption of educational activities is accompanied by supplementary educational services that meet the family reconciliation needs.  
Groups of children will be created of small dimensions and suitable for the spaces, stable within them and traceable through an attendance survey. Each group will have a reference educator for the entire school year.

Grandparents friends: the project was distributed to 85 schools. The activity started for the first time in 1999 with the support of 120 grandparents and today sees the participation of 325 volunteers, including 133 women, who every day accompany the entry and exit of boys and girls from schools of Childhood and Primaries of Milan.

“Portrait of words dedicated to Patrick Zaki”. Posted on the facade of Palazzo Marino a work, signed by the artist Francesca Grosso, showing the face of the young human rights activist. 
The portrait of the student, detained for seven months in Egyptian prisons, was created with the words of a letter addressed to him by the children of the InOltre - Alternativa progressiva association.
