Milan, 17 July - Verde: with Forestami the plan for 3 million trees by 2030 is progressing. This week the project's progress was presented with the identification of 253 new areas intended for urban forestation in the metropolitan city of Milan. Forestami is the urban forestation project that has allowed us to build a strategic vision on the role of greenery in the metropolitan area and is giving rise to a process of census, valorisation and implementation of all green systems.

Home: published a notice to perfect three projects for three popular neighborhoods. The appeal is aimed at operators - accredited bodies, third sector organizations - as possible partners called to delve into the co-planning aspects of the proposals developed by the Municipality. Gathered in the program “Reaction! The city in public housing" the three projects concern the Gallaratese districts to the north-west of the city, Lorenteggio to the south-west and Gorla-Precotto to the north-east, and will have to be carried out within a year and a half starting from next fall.

Public transport: reduction of distancing and increase in capacity on vehicles. With the Prime Ministerial Decree of 14 July, the possibility of derogating from the distancing meter is confirmed as long as the passengers of public transport, equipped with masks, position themselves in line and are oriented in the same direction. This will allow capacity to be increased by up to 60% on buses, metro and trams, for which ATM continues to guarantee constant sanitisation.

School: start of the extraordinary negotiated procedure to expand school spaces through temporary structures. The invitation to companies that produce temporary modules to be used as classrooms and ancillary rooms has been published. The notice to economic operators for the supply and installation of 50 turnkey structures will remain open until 31 December 2020.
