Milan, July 16 2021 - Quartieri: the tender to manage two buildings in Ripa di Porta Ticinese is online. These are spaces dating back to the beginning of the 900th century, recently renovated by the municipal administration, which must be used for recreational, cultural and educational activities of various kinds reserved for young people.
Non-profit associations, non-profit organisations, social cooperatives, foundations with social, cultural and educational purposes and amateur sports associations will be able to participate by submitting an application by 10 September.

Welfare: the welcome package for new borns is back. Municipality of Milan, Energie sociale Jesurum and LloydsFarmacia together for the fifth edition of "Welcome to the house of cuddles", a gift package full of products and useful information for new parents. 
Vouchers for home shopping or for the LloydsFarmacia network, as well as samples of food and hygiene products for children, which the families of newborns resident in Milan will be able to collect by following the instructions on the welcome letter sent by the Office registry office.

City hours: As of July 8, store and business openings have returned to normal. 
In fact, the provision by which during the months of health emergency the opening hours of commercial activities and offices were diversified to allow pupils to return to school and safe access to local public transport has been suspended.
The measures remain conditioned by the evolution of the health context at national and territorial level and by the consequent regulatory framework of reference.

Anti-heat plan: numerous recreational centers for the elderly reopened. From Cascina San Paolo to Sammartini, from Zante to the historic Acquabella, from Ritrovo 15 to Cascina Ronchettino, these are just some of the centers which, despite reduced hours and limited entrances (only possible for members and by reservation) have already reopened their doors to offer various recreational activities, games, snacks, gymnastics, music, English courses and social lunches. Numerous others, however, are preparing to welcome grandfathers and grandmothers again and combat the loneliness of those who stay in the city in the summer.   
For all other needs, such as the delivery of meals, shopping and medicines at home, home assistance for personal hygiene and house cleaning, domestic help for carrying out small procedures, the Contact center remains active 020202, from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 20pm.
