Milan, February 28 2020Area B, 45 gates were active after the activation of the new cameras. While the installation of the devices at the entry points proceeds, the Administration has launched some changes to the provision: the experimentation of 50 days of access after the first entry has been extended, new rules for historic vehicles, for the transport of heavy goods N2 and N3 and for street trading, finally joining the 'Move-In' experimental project. Food policy: no waste for expiring fresh food destined for city schools. Following the temporary suspension of educational activities, over 3 tons of fresh food destined for Milanese school canteens were donated to third sector organisations.

BikeMi: all the bikes in the fleet are back on the road. Clear channel had in fact found slight alterations to the frame structure on some specimens and decided as a precaution to withdraw the entire lot. Now 1.100 pedal-assisted bikes and 3.950 traditional bikes are ready to pedal along the streets of the city.

Libraries: the Milan library system is the first in Italy to join the free Newsguard project. A media literacy program has been installed on all PCs in the 26 city offices which will allow users to evaluate the authority and credibility of information sources. No content filters and now users will be free to surf the web, equipped with an extra compass.
