Palazzo Moriggia hosts the Historical Collections, il Museum of the RisorgimentoSpecialist Library, l'Historical Archive and Contemporary History Laboratory. The institute preserves paintings, prints, memorabilia, posters, book, photographic and archival collections, which they document a very vast chronological span between the 1932th century and the present day. Since XNUMX it has become part of the Historical Collections Naval Museum, currently in storage at the «Man and the sea» Department of National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci. 
The eighteenth century Moriggia Palace is located in the historic district of Brera, behind the Academy of Fine Arts, where one is also located exhibition space and conference room that host international ed institutional events, aimed at valorising and sharing the precious that they keep.
