On the occasion of Horticultural 2024 Milan is beautified with flower-filled shop windows, flower markets, garden openings and events inspired by the valorization and protection of the natural world. Even the museums friends of Orticola go, as every year, to enrich the widespread FuoriOrticola circuit with guided tours and tours, workshops and meetings.

At the Museum of the Risorgimento the guided tour "Flowers, plants and agricultural landscape in the works and archive documents of the Civic Historical Collections".

Walking through the rooms of the Risorgimento Museum in Milan, the visit will focus above all on the landscape elements of the great historical paintings - from the vision of the Alps against the backdrop of Napoleon's advance in Italy to the island of Caprera, a place loved by Garibaldi - on nature as reservoir of symbols - from the Masonic pelican to the Napoleonic bees - also focusing on archive documents that illustrate Carlo Cattaneo's reflections on the Lombard agricultural landscape.
