On May 25th from 9.30am Palazzo Moriggia hosts the conference "Italiani brava gente? Angelo del Boca and the history of Italian colonialism", with scholars of various generations and of various orientations, to discuss the legacy of his research for today's Italy and tomorrow.

May 25th from 9.30am Moriggia Palace hosts the conference in the conference room "Italians good people? Angelo del Boca and the history of Italian colonialism".
Angelo Del Boca (1925-2021) he was many things: man of letters, journalist, special correspondent, magazine editor. He is still known today above all for having innovated the historical study of national colonial past, to which he dedicated himself uninterruptedly from the 1960s onwards. His volume Italiani brava gente? it was an editorial success. His revelations on the fascist use of gas in the Ethiopian war are memorable, even in controversy with Indro Montanelli.
This important conference, with scholars of various generations and of various orientations, discusses the legacy of his research for the Italy of today and tomorrow.
