Burial in the family tomb

Burials in family tombs must be carried out only by private companies authorized to operate in cemeteries, the list of which can be found at the cemeteries or at the Ninety-Nine Burials Office.

Request

Prepare:

  • the authorization of the burial concessionaire
    (if the dealer is deceased, the presentation of the authorization is the responsibility of the heirs' contact person appointed in agreement between all the legitimate or testamentary heirs of the original dealer;)
  • declaration of consent from all the closest relatives of the deceased person to be buried.

In case of delegation to a company, also submit: 

  • delegation and copy of an identity document of the delegating person.

Ninety-Year Burials Office
via Larga, 12 – 1st floor - room 118 

opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 14:00
(show up at least 30 minutes before the office closes)

  • burial of bodies in the family tomb:
    - from a minimum of €8.629,93 to a maximum of €15.932,04 for the Monumental Cemetery;
    - €3.983,35 for the Major Cemetery and suburban cemeteries;
     
  • burial of remains/ashes in family tomb:
    - €331,65 for the Monumental Cemetery;
    - €165,79 for all other cemeteries.
