Assignment of columbaria to a deceased

The columbarium is assigned at the time of arranging the funeral or for a change of burial.

No forms of booking are foreseen. The assignment is subject to the availability of columbaria in the chosen cemetery. 

Request

The request can be made directly by a person or by delegation to a company authorized to carry out the procedures at the municipal offices (companies carrying out funeral activities or authorized to operate in city cemeteries on behalf of third parties - marble workers or builders category). 

In case of request for a columbarium for change of burial it is necessary to present:

  • justified request with revenue stamp of €16,00;
  • photocopy of the valid identity document of the applicant.

time (show up at least 30 minutes before the office closes):

  • from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 14:30
  • Saturdays and midweek holidays from 8 to 30 (entrance from via Rastrelli)
  • Sunday from 8 to 30 for deaths in homes and deaths in nursing homes without a mortuary (entrance from via Rastrelli).
