Alzheimer's services: psychosocial interventions

The psychosocial interventions, carried out in small groups, use different techniques - artistic, theatrical, dance therapy or music therapy, etc. - with the aim of stimulating existing cognitive skills and promoting sociality in a peaceful environment. They are aimed at people with cognitive impairment and dementia.

Interventions include Alzheimer Café, places where people with cognitive impairment and dementia and their families can carry out stimulating activities, find information and support, experience convivial moments in a welcoming climate of sharing.

The interventions are managed by Third Sector organizations that participate in the Alzheimer's Table of the Municipality of Milan.
