Agenda: Inspection in Piazza Baiamonti at the request of the opposition and to verify the fulfillment of the agenda "Modification of the projects for the construction of the Resistance Museum", voted unanimously on 13 April 2023. The following were invited to participate:

The Commission went to the Giardini in Transito, in the area where the National Museum of the Resistance is to be built, to verify the state of the art regarding the situation relating to the protection of trees. Representatives of the Giardini in Transito Association, the Fighters and Veterans Association and the Baiamonti Verde Municipality Committee were present on site.

Agenda:Inspection via Bisnati 7, to check the progress of the works after the fire on 19 August.

OUTCOME:

The visit route led the Councillors, after taking note of the reports of some resident citizens and hearing the replies of the MM Casa technicians present, to view the internal courtyards of the building, some unlocked and improperly used garages and the two lodgings bordering the one that burned down last summer. Here they were able to see their actual uninhabitability. It was also reported that the redevelopment works, which have been planned for some time, are nearing completion.

Agenda: Presentation of Mental Health Month Initiatives. Are invited:

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Welfare, recalling that today is the world day dedicated to mental health, presented the Milano4mentalhealth initiative which aims to place mental health at the center of the social and political debate and allow citizens to access to information relating to projects, prevention activities, ongoing social phenomena and possible individual actions to be undertaken linked to this fundamental theme through the synergy and valorisation of the associative, institutional, healthcare and entrepreneurial realities of the city. This initiative will last for the entire month of October. Subsequently, the director of the Health Area carried out a quick overview of the activities and services that the Municipality of Milan implements in the field of mental health.

Agenda:"Villages by bike: cycling to discover the ancient Milanese villages on the occasion of the Centenary of the ancient villages and Corpi Santi". They will be present:

  • Dr Roberto Schena, President of the Antichi Borghi Milanesi Association.

OUTCOME:

The guests illustrated the initiative in question, specifying that it takes place over 3 weekends.
They explored the last appointment which will take place on Sunday 15 October and will develop along the 67 km AbbracciaMi route. The Presidents specified some characteristics of the event, underlining its genesis and motivations. The commissioners asked specific questions about the initiative and more general questions regarding the valorisation of the city's historic places located on the outskirts, which were answered.

Agenda:San Siro Stadium update. They are invited:

OUTCOME:

The Mayor reported to the Council on the state of the art of the problem concerning the Meazza Stadium, its demolition or its renovation and the construction by the two city football teams of Inter and Milan of a new stadium, then listening to the working hypotheses put forward in this regard by the Councillors.

Agenda:Municipality 1 hearing. Sports, youth and well-being policies implemented by Municipality 1 and updates on sports facilities and school gyms present in the M1. They will speak:

OUTCOME:

The President of the Sports Commission of the Municipality 1 provided specifications relating to the sports activities implemented in the last year, highlighting both the critical issues 4 and the favorable collaboration with the schools. Furthermore, you underlined that Municipality 1 organized a day of free sport, inclusion, fun and well-being for citizens on October 22, 2023.

OUTCOME:

The Director of the Home Care Area, of the Welfare and Health Directorate, illustrated through the projection of slides. the various services provided by Day Centers for Disabled People, based on what is established by Regional legislation, aimed at improving the quality of life and strengthening the personal capabilities of disabled people.
Explaining that, for each person welcomed into the centre, a specific project is drawn up, the result of an evaluation process by a team of experts, who, evaluating the severity of the deficits, propose CDD or services focused on training and autonomy as the SFAs. 
Finally, the Councilors asked questions relating to the economic dimension of the Day Services, the demand for access to the Centers and the wellbeing of the workers in the Area, to which the Director provided exhaustive answers.

OUTCOME:

The representatives of the OBM Buzzi Association illustrated to the Commission the projects carried out by the Association in support of the activities of the Buzzi Hospital. Attention was placed in particular on a project aimed at 42 children, aged from 8 to 14, who last summer were able to benefit from free sporting activities at the Milanosport facilities. The OBM Buzzi Association has made a request to be able to have some spaces available where it can organize meetings with the children's families for courses on exercise and healthy eating. The Commission has taken into consideration the idea of ​​making some spaces available in municipalities or schools.

OUTCOME:

The guests illustrated the characteristics of lighting design, underlining how light design can be an important tool, alongside traditional public lighting, to build safer, but also more welcoming nocturnal urban landscapes, transforming them into places where it can be pleasant to stay. A debate followed during which the Offices and Councilors expressed their approval of the project described, hoping that Milan could also introduce lighting design as a tool for urban regeneration.

Agenda:"Report from the national coordinator of Public Notice on the topic of infiltration of organized crime into national football". Dr. Romani will present the report with the support of a series of slides.

OUTCOME:

The national coordinator of Public Notice presented a report on the infiltration of organized crime into national football. In particular, he illustrated: data relating to the number of registered athletes, the clubs and the economic movement generated by football, excerpts from reports from the National Anti-Mafia Commission, the turnover of gambling in Italy and in particular that linked to football . Finally he highlighted the ways in which organized crime approaches the world of both professional and amateur football clubs. The Councilors asked some questions which were promptly answered.
