OUTCOME:

The Councilors went to Alzaia Naviglio Pavese 192 where they interviewed the inhabitants of this complex, managed by MM, who exposed the problems present in the buildings which were subsequently examined. The MM technicians, present at the inspection, gave information on the maintenance interventions planned in these buildings.

Agenda: Museum of the Twentieth Century: NovecentopiùCento project.

OUTCOME:

The offices described the characteristics of the "Novecentopiùcento" project, clarifying that it was born from the desire to reconvert and annex the second Arengario to the visit itinerary of the Museo del Novecento, which now develops in the first Arengario, with the aim of creating a single large exhibition complex dedicated to modern and contemporary arts. The new Museum will be equipped with a new functional and modern auditorium, a cafeteria and a bookshop.
A debate followed during which a focus was placed on the analysis of costs for the construction of the new auditorium and further clarifications were requested, to which the Offices provided a response.

OUTCOME:

The provincial secretary of the Chamber of Commerce illustrated through slides the results of a survey among commercial entrepreneurs regarding the use of artificial intelligence, then answering the councilors' questions.

​​​​​​The Offices illustrated the contents of resolution no. 1737, underlining how the works were declared of great urgency since the structure faces a road where pedestrians and public transport pass. They highlighted that, taking into account the pressing need, steps were taken to identify a professional to develop the project and a company capable of intervening quickly through a public tender procedure. They specified that the works have already started and will be completed within 80 days. The councilors asked questions relating to the procedures adopted and the status of other farms which were fully answered. At the end, the Presidents declared the examination of the provision concluded and sent it to the chamber for the continuation of the administrative process.

Agenda: “Molce Atelier: Therapeutic Tailoring for Women Victims of Violence". Meeting point in via Demonte, 8 (Niguarda area). The following will be present:

OUTCOME:

The MOLCE Atelier is a place intended for tailoring training and psychological support aimed at women victims of violence and/or abuse and aims to obtain their full affirmation or complete recovery of economic and life autonomy. The spaces used, obtained through participation in the "Neighbourhood Schools" tender, are included in a public housing block.

OUTCOME:

Today's joint session saw the hearing of some Milanese associations involved in various fields ranging from music to sport, and thanks to their synergy it was possible to organize a major event dedicated to combating gender violence against women, which will take place at Barrio's Live on November 21st. It will be a very important opportunity to discuss such a delicate topic, which unfortunately is still sadly present and widespread in current society. The councilors present were able to provide their contribution and participation in the event itself.

​​​​​​Through the projection of graphic slides, the Deputy Mayor illustrated the problem relating to the unusability of the ML King school and the interventions implemented for the rapid resumption of lessons.
After a careful analysis of the surrounding school complexes and a survey carried out on families, it was decided, in agreement with the interested parties, to transfer the school community to the complex in via Dolci, with a shuttle service for the transport of pupils.
The councilors, after a heated debate, finally placed a focus on the topic of school buildings and the questions relating to the timing for the safety and restoration of the ML King complex, to which an exhaustive response was provided, while highlighting the differences with the school in via Dolci.

OUTCOME:

The Councilors carried out an inspection at the Olinda headquarters located in the former Paolo Pini psychiatric hospital in via Ippocrate 45. This non-profit organization has, among its main objectives, that of reconstructing access to citizenship rights for people with health problems mental and to connect places of exclusion with places of life, collect and reinterpret in an original way the heritage of deinstitutionalization experiences in psychiatry. The President of Olinda accompanied the Councilors to visit the pizza restaurant and the hostel where people who have had mental problems work and who in these places find an opportunity for their reintegration into work. Finally, we also saw the Cucina theater, built in place of the old kitchens of the Paolo Pini, where theater workshops are held for teenagers and even theater companies meet to prepare the shows that they will subsequently stage.

The Director of the Urban Security Area illustrated Resolutions no. 1513-1662/2023, detailing the sentences that determined the off-balance sheet debts contained in the provisions. At the end, the Presidents declared the resolutions discussed and sent them to the Council for debate.
