OUTCOME:

The Director of the Specialized Territorial Infrastructure Directorate and the Director of the General Urban Planning Area illustrated resolution no. to the Commission. 972-2023. They therefore responded to requests for information on the pedestrian bridge in Piazza Tirana. The Director of the Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation Area illustrated the Digital Projects financed by the PNRR and the state of the art, then answering the Councillors' questions comprehensively and on the merits. The President of the "Migliorattamente" Association then illustrated the working method and the results achieved within the Project in collaboration with the Municipalities called "ABC Spid".

OUTCOME:

The General Director of ATM, introducing the update on the company's strategic plan, highlighted the losses suffered by the company following the pandemic, caused by Covid and the considerable increase in energy costs. These losses were partly compensated by the management of public transport lines in other cities such as, for example, Copenhagen and by participation in other tenders for the management and maintenance of metropolitan lines in which ATM is a leader such as, for example, the Thessaloniki. The Director presented other lines of development, which are being studied and which will bring other company benefits. The Councilors asked some questions which were promptly answered.

Agenda: "Presentation of the training course organized by the Bar Associations of Milan and Belluno for lawyers to be included in the list of defenders for disputes related to the participation and conduct of the Olympic and Paralympic competitions of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Games before the Court of Arbitration of Sport (TAS). During the commission, the Regulation establishing the training course will also be illustrated. The following will be present:

• Vice President of CONI Dr. Claudia Giordani".

OUTCOME:

The President of the Sports Commission of the Milan Bar Association and other representatives of the same illustrated the main aspects of the training course organized, in view of the 2026 Olympic event, by the Milan and Belluno Bar Association as well as the founding regulation of the same. The resulting list will be made up of lawyers who will have the task of assisting, free of charge, in the event of a dispute before the Court of Arbitration for Sport, those federations or athletes who are unable to bear the costs or without their own legal representative. Finally, it was highlighted that, within the pool of selected lawyers, the presence of a member of the Olympic and Paralympic Commission of the Municipality of Milan is expected.

OUTCOME:

The councilors highlighted that in some city sections of the railway and underground lines the noise caused by the trains is high and asked for feedback on the work for the positioning of sound-absorbing barriers. The technicians of the Municipality, RF and Ferrovie Nord illustrated the design and approval process that the projects themselves must undergo before their implementation and highlighted which sections have already been built and which are about to be started. The councilors asked to have data concerning some projects and reiterated the need to balance the reduction of discomfort resulting from noise and to ensure that the visual and physical impact represented by the barriers is not excessive.

Agenda:“Hearing of the President of the Municipality, Anita Pirovano, and the President of the Culture Commission of Municipality 9, Michele Raffaele Stimola, who will illustrate the ESTATE [IN] 9 project, FESTIVAL OF FREE INITIATIVES FOR EVERYONE IN EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD OF THE M9”.

OUTCOME:

The President of Municipality 9 and the President of the Cultural Welfare and Innovation Commission provided specifications relating to the "Estate (in) 9" festival, highlighting that the Municipality has decided to invest in accessible and widespread culture for all those who will remain in the city. These are 28 free events including theatre, cinema and dancing evenings, in the period from 24 July to 28 September, organized in the public spaces of the different neighborhoods of Municipality 9. The Councilors have reflected on the merits.

A debate followed during which the Councilors expressed their approval for the projects described.

OUTCOME:

In the presence of the Councilor for Sport and the major corporate officers of MM SpA and MilanoSport SpA, a session was held which is the continuation of a previous Commission already convened some time ago precisely to address the issue of the contract between the two companies, for regarding the maintenance activities that MM carries out in favor of MilanoSport due to the fact that they are both investee companies of the Municipality of Milan. In the last commission it emerged that the contract, being in fact a new concept, was also subject to a period of experimentation to actually evaluate its correct effectiveness and then possibly update and modify it, a situation which has in fact become necessary in recent months. Today's meeting hosts the two investee companies who shared the update of the aforementioned contract with the related amendments and which they explained to the directors present. In-depth questions arose from the debate and received adequate answers.
