OUTCOME:

The guests clarified that the agreement in question, born in 2022, is aimed at creating a new cultural, urban and financial model in the social housing sector through subsidiary collaboration between a mutualistic entity (CCL) and an industrial entity (COIMA) with the proposal of real estate interventions at sustainable prices and rents. The pilot project will be carried out as part of the Redevelopment Plan of the former Scalo di P. ta Romana and will lead to the construction of 320 housing units.
A debate followed during which some Councilors asked for clarifications on specific focuses of the agreement to which the guests provided answers.

Agenda:“Agriwel a new model for corporate welfare in the agricultural supply chain of the metropolitan city of Milan". Hearing with:

OUTCOME:

The guests illustrated the contents of the project, specifying that it intends to broaden the network of opportunities to achieve work/life conciliation and practice corporate and territorial welfare actions, which especially in agricultural realities which often have coincident characteristics for both the entrepreneur and the the worker. Metropolitan City and the representative of the association described the methods of the project, while the owner of the agricultural company exemplified the actions adopted, highlighting how sharing experiences online has provided good results. The councilors noted the goodness of the initiative, observing that for the success of the project it is important to have motivated people, they also invited the Municipality to act in favor of agricultural entrepreneurs in a period of great difficulty.

Joint Council Commission  Sport, Tourism, Youth Policies-Policies for Wellbeing e Olympics and Paralympics Milan Cortina 2026  (Chaired by Councilor Angelica Vasile and Councilor Alessandro Giungi)
Agenda:"Hearing of the ASD Basket Sound School and presentation of the Playground Milano League project. Speakers:

OUTCOME:

The co-founder of ONElabMilano and the President of the Quarto Oggiaro Vivibile Association illustrated the Playground Milano League project to the Commission. They therefore responded to the requests for information formulated by the Councilors regarding women's basketball and the basketball playgrounds present in the city.

Agenda: Information on City Council Resolution no. 496 of 13/04/2023: “Approval of the guidelines for starting the procedure, pursuant to art. 13 of LR 11 March 2005 n. 12 and subsequent amendments, for the drafting of the new Plan Document and the variations of the Service Plan and the Rules Plan as acts constituting the current Territorial Governance Plan (PGT), as well as for the start of the relevant Strategic Environmental Assessment procedure ( VAS).” Will participate:

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Urban Regeneration and the heads of the relevant Department presented the first guidelines in view of the revision of the PGT and the motivations as well as the purposes that lead to it, in continuity with the previous contents. The need to proceed with further investigations has been put forward by many and accepted and numerous doubts have been raised both on the actual need to re-examine the text of the current PGT and on the not always faithful application of the provisions of the PGT itself in its actual implementation. .

Joint Council Commission Economic Development-Labour Policies e Active Mobility and Accessibility Council Subcommittee  (Chaired by Councilor Mauro Orso and Councilor Mazzei Marco)
Agenda:"Closure of the Italian branch of Swapfiets, a medium and long-term bicycle rental service, and the dismissal of 10 workers". We invited:

  • Sebastian Schlockermann, District Manager Warehouse & Logistics at Swapfiets;
  • Andrea Torti, FIOM CGIL delegate; representatives of Swapfiets workers.

OUTCOME:

The hearing of the workers of Swapfiets took place, a Dutch multinational company that offers a bicycle rental service in the city, which threatens the definitive closure of its Milan office and the consequent dismissal of their 10 employees. The workers were assisted by a union representative who illustrated the company's internal relations, which are currently reduced to a minimum level. The councilors present expressed their solidarity with the employees and hoped for the opening of a negotiation table that could resolve the dispute.

OUTCOME:

In today's session, space was given to the interventions of the Councilors who were unable to speak, due to the time available, in the previous session of 13 April 2023 where the Cariplo Foundation presented its report on inequalities. The observations presented by the Commissioners were highly appreciated by the representatives of the Cariplo Foundation who decided to take them into account when preparing projects aimed at intervening on inequalities in the educational field.

The General Director and representatives of the Board of Directors of the Pio Albergo Trivulzio provided specifications relating to the evolution of the budget years from 2004 to 2022, with costs and revenues. They pointed out that if the Municipality and the Region did not increase their contribution towards hospitalization fees, the sale of the building in Piazza Mirabello, owned by the PAT, would be envisaged. the Councilors asked questions on the merits, which were given exhaustive answers.
