Agenda:"Inspection at the Viale D'Annunzio School". Participants:

OUTCOME:

The Commissioners gathered, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor, the Head of the Technical Management and the Head of the Education Department, were able to ascertain the state of the art relating to the redevelopment works of the Viale D'Annunzio School, in view of the transfer to that location , of the “Vivaio” State Secondary School for the blind. The parents present, supported by some Councilors, made some requests (more parking for disabled people, limitation of vehicle speed near the structure, greater room for maneuver for equipped minibuses, etc.) which will be carefully evaluated, some inadequacies highlighted organizational and expressed doubts about maintaining the educational method. Finally, a further inspection was requested after the move was completed and before the start of the new school year.

Agenda: Steam Factory: hearing of Dr. Alessandro Bollo, former Project Manager of La Fabbrica del Vapore. Present at the Commission will be:

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Culture provided information on the projects carried out and on what will be done in the future in the Steam Factory while the former Project Manager of the structure reported on the work carried out in recent years and presented possible lines of evolution that could be followed in the next months. The Commissioners provided their observations on how the Steam Factory could evolve which were appreciated by both the Councilor and the Central Director of Culture.

Agenda:"Update on the Olympic and Paralympic sites in the area of ​​the former Palasharp, Santa Giulia, the former Porta Romana airport. The following will be present:

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Sport, the Councilor for Urban Regeneration and the Director Fund & Asset Management at COIMA SGR SPA have provided updates relating to the redevelopment of the Olympic and Paralympic sites; it was highlighted that unfortunately there was an increase in costs. Furthermore, the Presidents announced that inspections will be carried out in the affected areas. The Councilors asked questions on the merits which were given exhaustive answers.

Agenda:"Illustration of the redevelopment project of the former Garibaldi Barracks" Participants will be:

OUTCOME:

The designer illustrated how the renovation of the Garibaldi barracks will take place, then a director of the Urban Regeneration Directorate explained the active role of the Municipality in the matter and the Director of the Research and Development Area of ​​the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart explained that the students will move to the former Barracks in two phases, corresponding to the two phases of the move of the State Police Forces to the Montello Barracks, in Piazza Firenze. The works should be completed within 22 months. A Councilor and a Municipal Councilor asked questions and both were given comprehensive answers, by the designer and the University Director.

Agenda: Current use and prospects for valorisation of ATM SpA's commercial spaces in the metro line stations. They are invited:

OUTCOME:

The ATM Manager illustrated the current situation relating to the commercial spaces present in the MM mezzanines and specified what monitoring and initiatives the Company is carrying out in order to reduce the lack of use of the same as much as possible. The councilors and representatives of the trade associations commented on the situation and made suggestions both to accommodate active businesses and to identify ways that make it possible for traders to use the empty spaces, but underlining how the same spaces can be granted to third sector associations or bodies (bearing in mind, however, that they have to face expenses for bringing the premises up to standard).

Joint Council Commission Budget-Real Estate ed Civil Economy and Third Sector Development (Chaired by Councilor D'Amico Simonetta and Councilor Pedroni Valerio)
Agenda:"Inspection c/o Cascina Cotica, via Giulio Natta 19". They will be present:

  • Dr. Francesca Pace, staff councilor Emmanuel Conte;
  • the architect Luca Re Sartò, State Property and Heritage Directorate;
  • the engineer Francesco De Marco, State Property and Heritage Directorate.

OUTCOME:

The participants went to the Cascina Cotica in via Giulio Natta, 19 and upon arriving there they were made aware of the numerous restoration and renovation interventions therein and of the activities carried out.
In fact, inside the Cascina, granted under concession by the Municipality, cultural, interactive, training initiatives and the possibility of short-term rentals are proposed, thus constituting an important center of social aggregation in the area.

OUTCOME:

The President of the “I Tetragonauti” Association clarified that the association was born with the aim of creating a reality that through the sea, travel and navigation offers educational paths and formative life experiences to fragile or difficult people, orienting also the children in dispersion.
The Councilors expressed their approval for the project described.

OUTCOME:

The "Centrinno" Project, financed with European Funds within the framework of the "Horizon" Programme, was illustrated through simplifying slides, regarding the regeneration and transformation of historic urban areas into Entrepreneurship Centres, with a focus on the manufacturing sector.
The Municipality of Milan plays the role of Coordinator of the Project, which involves 26 countries and represents the instrument through which to create a model of Environmental Sustainability and Circular Economy.

Agenda:"Metropolitan City hearing on the increase in school gym fees". They will be connected:

OUTCOME:

The Sports Councilor of the Metropolitan City explained the reasons that led to the increase in school gym fees mainly due to the increase in energy and maintenance costs. The Sports Councilor of the Municipality of Milan highlighted that in the budget of her Department there are not sufficient resources to place the costs of the increase under the responsibility of the Local Authority. An extensive debate developed in which the Municipal and Municipal Councilors participated to propose solutions aimed at preventing the increase in rental costs of school gyms from falling on the sports associations that use them. Those that may be executable will be explored.

The representatives of the various associations present explained how the two projects took shape and how they will develop in collaboration with the Lviv Polytechnic, one concerning design and the other art, in support of the Ukrainian population.

Agenda: "Integrated Activity and Organization Plan of the Municipality of Milan - 2023-2025". He will be a guest and speaker:

OUTCOME:

The General Secretary illustrated in detail the PIAO (Integrated Activity and Organization Plan) of the Municipality of Milan, i.e. the single programming and governance document that absorbs many of the plans that the public administrations were required to prepare annually (Performance, Staff needs, Gender equality Anti-corruption agile working). Specifically in the element linked to corruption prevention activities, he introduced new and more effective intervention models.
