Agenda:Inspection at the Mario Di Marco sports center, in Via Antonio Aldini 77. The following will be present:

  • the President of ASD Sempione Half 1919, Andrea Marcon.

OUTCOME:

The President of ASD Sempione Half 1919 explained to the councilors the genesis, activities, aims and projects of the Angelo Gianni Baffi Foundation which manages the sports center which was the subject of the inspection. The councilors were then taken to view the structure.

Agenda:Presentation of the dossier "Navigating the future. The results of the Telefono Azzurro Bva Doxa 2024 research". They will speak:

  • Raffaella Pipitone, Coordinator of the Lombardy Territorial Centre, SOS Telefono Azzurro Foundation;
  • Rebecca Minoliti, Study, Research and Development Centre, SOS Telefono Azzurro Foundation.

OUTCOME:

The guests illustrated the contents of the research on artificial intelligence, carried out by Telefono Azzurro, which involved 806 interviews with children aged between 12 and 18. It was clarified that the majority of young people interviewed (99%) declared that they use smartphones and computers, reporting an overall positive opinion on artificial intelligence. It was also underlined that the protection of minors online is an important and complex issue that requires supervision and shared strategies by parents, educators and technology companies. A debate followed during which the Councilors formulated considerations and asked for clarifications to which the guests provided answers.

Joint Council Commission Equal Opportunities - Civil Rights ed Education - Food Policy (Chaired by Councilor De Marchi Diana and Councilor Pontone Marzia)
Agenda:Inspection at the ANS Ausilioteca. They will be present:

  • Giuseppe Maroni, president of ANS;
  • Carla Mondolfo, vice president of ANS;
  • Rosa Garofalo, director of ANS.

OUTCOME:

The ANS Help Center - Tommaso Service (from the Apostle of the same name), the object of the inspection, offers, the only one of its kind, free advice on aids, dedicated to the visually impaired and present in the headquarters, housed inside the Valvassori Peroni Library. The group of visitors, after a brief presentation of the activities, as well as the purposes linked to them, proposed by the Association, were able to experience, through the use of a special mask, the condition of the visually impaired. The ANS managers complained about poor resources and little visibility.

Agenda: "Annual report on the activity of the Municipal Attorney's Office". He'll be there:

  • the lawyer Antonello Mandarano, Director of the Legal Department.

OUTCOME:

The Director of the Legal Department provided updates regarding the litigation activity of the municipal attorney's office. Therefore, particularly relevant themes in the area were highlighted; the Councilors asked questions on the merits to which exhaustive answers were given.

Agenda:"Approval of the Regulation for the authorization of the registration of third-party trademarks bearing the name 'Milano - resolution 2088'. Participants will be:

OUTCOME:

Today's meeting represented the continuation of the session of 14 February last, dedicated to completing the examination of resolution 2088/2023, containing the "Regulation for the authorization of the registration of third-party trademarks bearing the name 'Milano'". The aspects not yet examined were explored in depth, critically grasping the possible implications relating to the use of the name of Milan in the registration of commercial brands. The Councilor for Economic Development and Labor Policies and the managers responsible for the provision have comprehensively satisfied the insights raised by the councilors present.

Agenda:"Checks on the safety status of municipally owned healthcare residences managed by third parties - Inspection at RSA FAMAGOSTA - Via Di Rudinì, 3 - Milan." They were invited to participate:

  • the Councilor for Welfare and Health, Lamberto Bertolè;

as regards the RSA Famagusta, the following are expected to be present in the Commission:

  • by Dr. SILVANA BERTOGLIO - Management Director "RSA and CDI Famagosta";  

OUTCOME:

The Councilors went to the RSA Famagosta located in via Di Rudini 3, Milan to check the conditions of the structure. During the visit, the good conditions of the RSA were noted and information was provided on the services offered.

Agenda:Update of the work program on the Olympic routes and to improve the accessibility of the metro stations in view of the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Speakers:

  • Councilor Arianna Censi;
  • the President of the Italian Paralympic Committee of the Lombardy Region, Pierangelo Santelli;
  • the President of the city council for people with disabilities, Haydée Longo;
  • arch. Michela Vassena, contact person for the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired Onlus-APS.

OUTCOME:

In the presence of the Councilor for Mobility and the top managers of the Departments involved, the structural interventions to improve accessibility in 9 stations of the Milan metro were presented, entirely financed by Pnrr funds. After the illustration of the projects by the municipal managers with the related timetables, and the numerous guests who were experts in accessible mobility, who also spoke, the councilors present were able to express their opinions on the matter, asking questions to which exhaustive answers were provided .

Agenda:Resolution no. 140/2024 - Recognition pursuant to art. 194, co. 1 letter a) Legislative Decree 167/2000, of the off-balance sheet debt deriving from the payment of the total sum of €2.154,46 in execution of the sentence of the Ordinary Court of Milan n. 9198/2023. 3) research by the Swedish University of Lund on urban traffic reduction interventions carried out in various European cities. They were invited to participate:

  • Councilor Elena Grandi,
  • Councilor Arianna Censi,
  • the professor. Edoardo Croci,
  • the architect Paola Viganò.

OUTCOME:

The Offices illustrated the contents of the proposed Resolution no. 140/2024 relating to the recognition of the off-balance sheet debt resulting from a ruling in which the municipal administration lost for a total sum of €2.154,46. After some in-depth analysis requested by the Councillors, the resolution was declared discussed and sent to the City Council for subsequent compliance. The third item on the agenda was not discussed and postponed to a subsequent meeting.

Agenda:Working conditions and employment prospects in MM SpA: hearing of the company and the unions. They are invited:

OUTCOME:

The top management of MM SpA, called to report on the delay in the presentation of the Industrial Plan, the resulting climate of uncertainty and the consequent and significant number of voluntary resignations presumably induced by it, attempted to clarify the reasons. They also specified that, although stigmatized by some interventions, the number of voluntary resignations would not be anomalous in comparison with other companies and that the presentation of the Industrial Plan was also postponed following the dispute on the legitimacy of the in-house assignment, promoted by the Municipality of Milan, of green management.

Agenda: Home Automated Elderly. PARTICIPANTS:

  • Giuseppe Barbalace - Director of the Home Care Area - Welfare and Health Department;
  • Marilena Garavaglia - Official of the Milan Territorial Welfare Unit for Municipalities 3 and Technical Representative of the Project - Territoriality Area and Integrated System of Access to Social Services - Welfare and Health Directorate.

OUTCOME:

The Councilor and the Offices illustrated the "CARE" project, which aims to encourage the elderly to stay at home, through the introduction of home automation elements that make constant assistance possible and facilitate daily life, underlining that for now the experimentation is being conducted in homes located in Municipalities 3, 4 and 8. They explored the aims and characteristics of this project, financed with PNRR funds, indicating which devices, which contacts and which assistance is put in place for the elderly . The councilors intervened expressing appreciation for the project and for the ability to intertwine social interlocution with health care in order to offer guarantees of assistance and care. The Offices have specified that, once the planning phase has been concluded and the results have been verified, they will evaluate how to continue this project and extend it to the other Municipalities.

Agenda:"School of architecture and design for children". Will participate:

  • Dr. Lucia Rossi, Bicocca University graduating in primary education sciences.

OUTCOME:

The managers and teachers of the Luigi Cadorna School Institute, in collaboration with the architect who created the project, presented “School of architecture and design for children. This consisted of 12 lessons, distributed over 5 months, through which the children had the opportunity to learn about the many aspects present in an architectural project and the delicate relationship between man and the built environment, thanks also to the contribution of teachers from the Polytechnic of Milan , who taught the children the first rudiments of the trade not only by directly entering their classrooms, but also by hosting them in some of the University's laboratories and making them interact with the students.

OUTCOME:

The speakers from the Parks Association - Liberi e Uguali placed a focus on the topic of work and the rights of LGBT people. The non-profit Association aims to help companies understand the business potential linked to the development of strategies and good practices that respect diversity. Reflections on the merits emerged from the debate.

Inter managers provided clarifications regarding the article that appeared on 17 January 2024 in "Il Fatto Quotidiano" and gave exhaustive answers to the questions posed by the Directors.
