OUTCOME:

The Commission went to visit the Milan District Innovation area, where the CEO of Arexpo SpA and the Director of the Lendlease Project reported on future interventions that will affect the area in question.

Agenda: Alaska, a new independent bookshop for Milan. Present at the Commission will be:

OUTCOME:

The guests illustrated the characteristics of the independent bookstore Alaska. Inaugurated in Affori in December 2021, where a book shop had been missing for twenty years, it aims to become a place for meeting and sharing, with editorial proposals for adults and children, and also a small presence serving the neighbourhood.
During the debate, the Councilor, the Councilors and the Offices underlined the value of these realities and the need for a widespread and pervasive cultural offer.

Joint Council Commission Institutional Affairs-Metropolitan City e Civic Services, Relations with Municipalities, Digitalisation (Chaired by Councilor Enrico Fedrighini and Councilor Pastorella Giulia) 
Agenda: Participation tools, further developments for the Municipality of Milan. The Colibrì Committee, promoter of the "Sai Che Pu" campaign, will participate and the presence of Dr. Peroncini, Director of the Civic and Municipal Services Directorate, is expected.

OUTCOME:

The councilors asked questions deriving from the explanation given during the previous session and asked for some technical and procedural clarifications. The guests and the offices specified in detail the differences between public debate and public investigation and technically described the steps that these participatory tools must follow. The Offices also provided a description of what was implemented by the Administration for the completion of the tender for the identification of the person responsible for conducting the public debate which, in the case in question concerning the S. Siro stadium and according to what governed by current law, it is mandatory.

Agenda: "Presentation of the Milano Cycling Academy sports project and the hypothesis of cyclocross as a winter Olympic discipline. Participants will be:

OUTCOME:

The session had as its object the presentation of an important sporting project, that represented by the Milan Cycling Academy, closely linked to the theme of the Olympics, i.e. the hypothesis that cyclocross will soon become a winter Olympic discipline. In addition to the officials of the Milanese cycling association, a representative of CONI and other representatives of Municipality 3 spoke. The councilors present were able to appreciate the project, intervening with additions and improvement proposals.

Joint Council Commission Mobility, Environment, Greenery and Animals  e Active Mobility and Accessibility Council Subcommittee (Chaired by Councilor Carlo Monguzzi and Councilor Mazzei Marco)
Agenda: "Electric bicycles, scooters and scooters (mopeds), with particular attention to the disposal of batteries and their coexistence on the road with public and private means of transport.". They are invited:

OUTCOME:

Representatives of the COBAT Consortium illustrated the methods of production and disposal of lead and lithium electric batteries, answering the questions posed by the Councillors. Questions were also asked by ACI representatives on the coexistence in the city between traditional mobility and soft mobility, which will be answered at a subsequent meeting.

Agenda: "Cohesion funds 2021-2027 and urban development in the EU: where we are". You will be present at the hearing:

• the dr. Nicola De Michelis - Director of the European Commission responsible for cohesion policy for Southern European member states.

OUTCOME:

The Director of the European Commission, responsible for cohesion policy for the Member States of Southern Europe, provided updated information on the progress of the European Plans currently being implemented and planned. In particular, he expressed concern about the state of implementation of the Metro PON which is, in Italy, at 25% and on which it is necessary to intervene to urge an acceleration to avoid losing its resources. The Councilors asked their questions which were promptly answered.

Agenda: Presentation Io Valgo - an educational path on the prevention of gender violence in primary school". The following will be present at the hearing:

OUTCOME:

The “Io valgo” project (Educating for the prevention of gender violence) was illustrated by the creator and main promoter and by some school managers who made it their own. It is not a project, they explain, but a five-year interdisciplinary and transversal journey; it creates a free network in the area and requires the synergistic collaboration of families; carries out authentic tasks with "Peer education" for the students of the institute and for those belonging to schools of other institutes; inaugurations of red benches; spaces for discussion with the "Debate" methodology; conferences for local users in which the students themselves take an active part; interactive shows with families, comics and digital products with related teaching.

Agenda: Confesercenti Observatory on the post pandemic and SOS Wear. The President Dr. Paini will be present for Confesercenti.

OUTCOME:

The President of Confesercenti Milano provided specifications relating to prevention, contrast and solidarity activities for victims of racketeering and usury and highlighted the various problems that emerged in helping the various economic operators. The Councilors asked questions on the merits which were given exhaustive answers.
