3)N/1474 -2022 Recognition, pursuant to art. 194, c. 1, letter. a), of Legislative Decree 267/00, of off-balance sheet debts deriving from the payment of legal expenses for n. 7 executive judicial measures unfavorable to the Municipality of Milan in cases followed by the Municipal Attorney's Office for a total of €81.932,06. The measure involves expense. 5)N/1515-2022 Recognition of off-balance sheet debts pursuant to art. 194, paragraph 1, letter a) of the Consolidated Law on Local Authorities (TUEL), deriving from the payment of legal expenses for executive judicial measures unfavorable to the Municipality of Milan in cases falling within the competence of the Specialized Collection and Collection Directorate for a total of €19.173,36. The measure involves expense.

OUTCOME:

The Director of the Legal Affairs Directorate illustrated measures no. 1341-2022 and n. 1474-2022 concerning the recognition of debts outside the budget, for the payment of legal costs for executive judicial measures unfavorable to the Municipality of Milan in cases followed by the Municipal Lawyer's Office. The Director of the Forced Collection and Sanctions Area of ​​the Highway Code illustrated provisions no. 1129-2022 and n. 1515-2022 concerning the recognition of off-balance sheet debts, for the payment of legal expenses for executive judicial measures unfavorable to the Municipality of Milan. The President of the Commission declared the four measures discussed, so that they can be subjected to examination by the City Council.

OUTCOME:

The session focused on the updated balance of the long experience of the QuBì project, with the presence of the Councilor for Welfare and Health and the top managers of the Territoriality Area, as well as representatives of the Cariplo Foundation. The meeting also saw the intervention of a representation of social workers working in the urban areas covered by the detailed interventions who spoke about their professional experience. The unanimous intention was to continue the experience by elevating it to an intervention methodology for citizen welfare.

Agenda: "Illustration of the history of the Paralympics and discussion on the proposal to name a garden in Municipality 8 after Antonio Maglio, inventor of the Paralympics". Participants:

OUTCOME:

The members of the Lombard Paralympic Committee illustrated the history of the Paralympics remembering Dr. Antonio Maglio who was the first in Italy to introduce sport for people with different abilities and to whom they want to dedicate a public garden in Municipality 8. Furthermore, the importance of sport for these people as a tool for integration was reiterated and the need highlighted to work with greater commitment on the elimination of architectural barriers also with a view to the next Winter Olympics in 2026. The Councilors thanked the members of the Paralympic Committee for the information provided and the Presidents declared that further sessions will be convened on these issues.â € ‹â €‹ â € ‹â €‹ â € ‹â €‹ â € ‹

Joint Council Commission Economic Development-Labour Policies e Control of Participatory Bodies (Chaired by Councilor Mauro Orso and Councilor Bestetti Marco)
Agenda: Site inspection of the Foody 2025 project. The following were invited to participate:

  • the Councilor for Economic Development and Labor Policies, Alessia Cappello;
  • the Councilor for Budget and Real Estate, Emmanuel Conte.

The area of ​​the city's General Markets (So.Ge.Mi.), whose redevelopment works were the subject of the inspection, will be completely renovated and some of the renovation projects are in an advanced stage of implementation. The President of the Company, after a brief descriptive summary of the works planned by the Foody 2025 Program, accompanied the group of visitors to the construction site areas. It was highlighted that, due to the increase in raw material prices, the manufacturing companies have requested a significant adjustment to the budget initially identified.

Council Commission Sport-Tourism-Youth Policies-Policies for Wellbeing (Chaired by Councilor Vasile Angelica)
Agenda: Presentation of cultural promotion activities organized by the FAI Delegation of Milan. They will speak:

  • Daniela Tenore, deputy head of the FAI Milan delegation,
  • Gianluca Guerrini, member of the FAI YOUTH Milan Board.

OUTCOME:

Some representatives of the FAI Delegation of Milan presented the main types of activities proposed to citizens by the institution they represent. Basically these are: city itineraries (lesser known spaces); visits to exhibitions and museums (most attractive or unique events); extraordinary openings (places normally closed to the public). The probability of the risk of overlapping tasks between tourism/cultural workers and the voluntary contribution of FAI members was underlined. In this regard, it was clarified that this risk has no reason to exist since the voluntary contribution only concerns the spring FAI days.

Joint Council Commission Institutional Affairs-Metropolitan City e European Funds, PNRR, European and International Policies (Chaired by Councilor Enrico Fedrighini and Councilor Pacente Carmine)
Agenda: Proposal for resolution N/1524-2022: "PNRR and European funds 2021-2027: guidelines for coordinated and effective management of interventions financed under the PNRR, the new EU cohesion policy and the European programs 2021- 2027 for the benefit of Milan and its metropolitan area - an act of mere political direction."

OUTCOME:

The President and the Vice President of the International Affairs Commission described the contents of the proposed resolution no. 1524, then responding to the requests of the Councillors. At the end of the debate, the President declared the measure discussed, sending it to the attention of the Council.
