OUTCOME:

The Councilor clarified that the municipal administration has expressed its concern for the fate of the tenants, referred to in the subject, who have received a letter of cancellation of the rental contract and that the new ownership has made itself available to work jointly to an in-depth analysis of the social situations for which a solution must be found.
A debate followed during which tenant representatives and some councilors underlined the need to find solutions to protect tenants who today risk losing their homes.

OUTCOME:

The president of CSI Milan and the representative of the Sport section of the Archdiocese of Milan presented "Orasport on fire tour", an educational project designed in view of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics. A torch will visit oratories, sports clubs and schools of the Archdiocese of Milan over the next three and a half years, with the aim of transmitting the Olympic values ​​of excellence, solidarity and respect to children and young people.

Agenda: Of the. n. 2484/2022 - Recognition of off-balance sheet debt pursuant to art. 194, 1st paragraph letter. a), Legislative Decree 267/2000, deriving from the payment of the total sum of € 19.514,01 = in execution of the sentence of the Court of Appeal of Milan - Labor Section n. 555/2022 published on 07.06.2022. Will participate:

OUTCOME:

The session was dedicated to the illustration of Resolution no. 2484/2022 which provides for the recognition of an off-balance sheet debt, following a judicial dispute whose outcome saw the Municipality of Milan as the losing party. The Manager of the Human Resources Administration Area briefly explained the matter, which concerns the compensation for damage received by an employee of the organisation, as well as the reimbursement of legal expenses for both parties. At the end, the President declared the Resolution under consideration as discussed.

Agenda: "Assignment of the professional role of Porject Administrator - administrative coordinator for the development of the qualitative and quantitative reporting system and monitoring of the effectiveness/efficiency of services in the context of co-planning and co-management of residential reception services aimed at families in conditions of socio-economic fragility and housing difficulties with minors, of projects and social paths of integration and inclusion in legality (with particular attention to the implementation of the rights of minors) and of awareness raising initiatives on issues related to overcoming of ethnic discrimination, to the prevention and fight against anti-Gypsyism". OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Welfare and Health, assisted by the Manager of the same Department and by the Director of the Rights and Inclusion Area, illustrated the administrative functions of the Project Administrator/Administrative Coordinator, whose figure and role are regulated by the relevant Managerial Determination, in support of the Rights and Serious Marginalization Area. During the session, the need to provide economic support to families in difficulty in paying energy bills, by providing for greater dedicated resources in the budget, was underlined and a specific figure was requested to deal with overcoming the Roma camps.

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Social Services illustrated to the Commission the "Milan 4 mental health" event, with the initiatives on mental well-being that will be held in Milan in October. The Commission appreciated the fact that attention was paid to the issue of the psychological well-being of adolescents. Proposals have been made to organize specific initiatives on eating disorders, as well as on the mental health of women and prisoners.

OUTCOME:

The Councilors expressed their opinions on the MIMO (Milan Monza Air Motor Show) event which took place last June and which could be replicated in 2023, believing that an event proposing new cars is little in line with the plans of this Administration aimed at reducing the number of cars in the city. The Tourism Councilor highlighted that this event attracted over 300.000 people to Milan, acting as a driving force for tourism and therefore creating a favorable impact for the city's accommodation facilities and traders. Therefore it was decided to activate a path that finds ways to make the events held in the city as sustainable as possible.

The representatives of Caritas Ambrosiana illustrated the initiatives undertaken for some time by the Milanese Diocese, regarding the issue of usury, then answering the questions posed by the President and the Councillors.
