OUTCOME:

The Commission carried out an inspection at the Beccaria Penal Institute for Juveniles. The pastry laboratory, the school classrooms and some detention rooms were visited.

Dr. Stefania Zazzi, social medicine doctor and expert in social and health services, presented the "Red Busta Project", a real plan against loneliness, aimed above all at older citizens. Agenda: 1) Resolution N/2635-2022 Recognition, pursuant to art. 194, c. 1, letter. a), of the Legislative Decree. 267/00, of off-balance sheet debts deriving from the payment of legal expenses for n. 15 executive judicial measures unfavorable to the Municipality of Milan in cases followed by the Municipal Attorney's Office for a total of €. 33.126,87. 3) Resolution N/3570-2022 - Recognition, pursuant to art. 194, c. 1, letter. a), of the Legislative Decree. 267/00, of off-balance sheet debts deriving from the payment of legal expenses for n. 8 executive judicial measures unfavorable to the Municipality of Milan in cases followed by the Municipal Attorney's Office for a total of €. 7.973,37. The measure entails expense (notified on November 4th with Circular no. 112). They will be present:

4) Resolution N/3386-2022 Recognition of off-balance sheet debts pursuant to art. 194, paragraph 1, letter a) of the Consolidated Law on Local Authorities (TUEL), deriving from the payment of legal expenses for executive judicial measures unfavorable to the Municipality of Milan in cases falling within the competence of the Specialized Collection and Collection Directorate for a total of €30.253,77. The provision entails expense (notified on 31 October with Circular no. 111). They will be present:

OUTCOME:

The Offices illustrated, each for the part of their respective competence, the content of the four measures under examination in today's session, following the content of each of them and focusing on some particularities in order to make the choices adopted by the Administration clearer. They also responded to some requests for clarification made by the councillors.

OUTCOME:

The session covered two distinct topics but which have some features in common. On the one hand the need to take stock of some problems linked to the Merezzate neighbourhood, which is why a delegation of local residents was invited who presented their arguments, and on the other hand on the more general theme, to which it was ample space in some press outlets about ERP or ERF apartments that have somehow been inserted and made available on the Airbnb platform. Among the speakers, the main guests were the top managers of the real estate company that manages the condominiums in via Merezzate, which has always been committed to the creation of living spaces that are both quality and economically sustainable, who expressly entered into the merits of the problems raised by resident citizens. For his part, the Director of the Home Management, explored the peculiar aspects pertinent to the agreements within a subsidized building, and the conditions connected to these agreements. The resulting debate highlighted the most urgent issues, which must be addressed in the short term, and the more general ones, which can be addressed over a longer period of time.

Agenda: Illustration of the meaning and objectives achieved by RUN 4 INCLUSION. They will be present:

  • Elga Corricelli, co founder of the Wellbeing and Happiness at Work association,
  • Nicola Corricelli, Chief Culture & New Business Officer Uniting,
  • Amanda Frascolla, Client Director Uniting,
  • Francesca Cagliani, Corporate Communication Specialist Uniting.

OUTCOME:

Guests reported the large participation in the non-competitive Run 4 inclusion, which saw 5000 participants.
The initiative was created to celebrate the values ​​of inclusion and represents a model of the fight against all types of discrimination.
The route lasted 7,24 km, a distance chosen to underline the need for constant commitment to these issues, 7 days a week and 7 hours a day.
A debate followed during which some Councilors expressed their appreciation for the event and formulated considerations.

OUTCOME:

The Welfare Councilor, the managers of the municipal offices in charge of the service and the Third Sector operators, have outlined the intervention methods used for the 2022-2023 Anti-Cold Plan and the methods of access to the service itself, explaining that all this falls within in a more coordinated and broader planning model for the reception of adults living on the streets, beyond emergency situations.

OUTCOME:

The institutional representatives of Municipalities 4 and 5 illustrated the state of the art in relation to the facilities, the degree of frequency of sports practice and the critical issues identified (lack of resources, maintenance, new sports activities, etc.) regarding the territories they themselves administered. Proposals have emerged regarding the possibility of making use of sponsorships for the management, maintenance and possible redevelopment of sports facilities.

Council Commission Equal Opportunities-Civil Rights (Chaired by Councilor De Marchi Diana)
Agenda:"The resistance of Afghan women from the direct voice of those who have not left their country". They will speak:

  • Maryam Rawi RAWA association,
  • Laura Quagliolo Rawa association,
  • Pierfrancesco Majorino.

OUTCOME:

The representatives of RAWA (Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan) and CISDA (Italian Coordination for Afghan Women's Support) illustrated the serious situation in which women find themselves in Afghanistan under the Taliban regime and the projects which, despite the persecutions to which they are subjected, they are carrying out to give education and in some cases economic independence to Afghan women. The Councilors expressed their solidarity with Afghan women and asked how they can support RAWA and CISDA in their work.
