OUTCOME:

The Councilor Delegate for Mobility and Infrastructure and the Deputy General Director of the Metropolitan City of Milan illustrated to the Commission the Biciplan of the Metropolitan City of Milan, called "Cambio". The Director of the Mobility and Transport Directorate of the Municipality of Milan illustrated to the Commission the network of cycle routes present in Milan. The speakers and the Mobility Councilor of the Municipality of Milan therefore responded to the requests for information formulated by the Councilors regarding signs related to cycling, collaborative relationships with companies and Mobility Managers, the AbbracciaMI project and bike-sharing.

Trijoint Council Commission Budget - Real Estate,  Mobility, Environment, Greenery and Animals  e  Control of Participatory Bodies(Chaired by Councilor D'Amico Simonetta, Councilor Monguzzi Carlo and Councilor Bestetti Marco)
Agenda:

1) M4 SpA: M4 project and work progress status;

2) Forecast 2021 and budget 2022.

The presence of the top management of M4 SpA is expected in the Commission:

  • the President, Dr. Alessandro Lamberti,
  • the CEO, Dr. Renato Aliberti.

They were invited to participate:

  • the Councilor for Budget and Real Estate, E. Conte,
  • the Councilor for Mobility, A. Censi.

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Mobility, the President and the CEO of M4 illustrated the state of progress of the works relating to the construction of the underground line 4. In particular they provided data on the functioning of this line, on the reason for the delay in the conclusion of the works which went from 88 to 103 months and on the delivery methods of the various sections. The Linate San Babila section will be usable from 30 April 2023 while the entire line will be open by 31 October 2024. The Councilors and some members of the Municipalities asked some questions which were promptly answered.

Joint Council Commission Mobility, Environment, Green, Animals e Culture (Chaired by Councilor Monguzzi Carlo and Councilor Costamagna Luca)
Agenda: Inspection of the Montanelli Gardens. They will be present:

  • the President of Municipality 1 Abdu Mattia Abdu Ismahil,
  • the Councilor for Culture Alessia del Corona Borgia,
  • the Green Councilor Lorenzo Pacini.

OUTCOME:

The visit itinerary covered the exteriors of the Civic Museum of Natural History and the statuary housed inside the Montanelli Gardens. Further attention was paid to the unsatisfactory state of conservation of the greenery and plants. Some citizens belonging to the AGIAMO Association (Friends of the Montanelli Gardens) have reported that they work in support of the company that has contracted the maintenance work and sometimes, exclusively. Finally, a reflection was dedicated to the future of the area in which the city zoo was housed.

Joint Council Commission Welfare and Health, Olympics-Paralympics Milan Cortina 2026 e Education and Food Policy  (Chaired by Councilor Marco Carlo Fumagalli, Councilor Giungi Alessandro and Councilor Pontone Marzia)
Agenda: "Hearing on the activities of CBM Italia Onlus, in particular in relation to projects for students with disabilities and those promoting Olympic and Paralympic values ​​in Milanese schools. The following will participate:

  • Massimo Maggio, General Director of CBM Italia Onlus,
  • Giovanna Romagna, Italy CBM Onlus program manager,
  • Valentina Simioli, Head of Content Manager Italy Programs CBM Onlus.

OUTCOME:

The guests clarified that CBM Italia is a humanitarian organization committed to the prevention and treatment of blindness and avoidable disability and the inclusion of people with disabilities in developing countries and in Italy.
They focused on some projects, including the "Let's open our eyes" educational project, for primary and nursery schools, and recalled the commitment to promoting the right to sport of people with disabilities and the Olympic and Paralympic values.
A debate followed during which the Councilors expressed their praise for the activities promoted by CBM.

Joint Council Commission Welfare and Health e Education and Food Policy  (Chaired by Councilor Marco Carlo Fumagalli and Councilor Pontone Marzia)
Agenda: 1) The refugee reception system in Milan; 2) Management of the Ukrainian refugee emergency. Will participate:

  • Deputy Mayor Anna Scavuzzo;
  • Councilor for Welfare and Health: Lamberto Bertolè;
  • Director of the Rights, Inclusion and Projects Area: Michele Petrelli;
  • Organizational Position Social Inclusion: Antonella Angela Colombo.

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Welfare and the Deputy Mayor, together with the competent offices, described the regulatory framework and the methods of reception of refugees carried out by our city up to now for several years, then focusing on the current emergency reception of people coming from the areas of war in Ukraine, delving into the topic of minors. They then responded in detail to the questions posed by the Councillors.

Joint Council Commission Sport-Tourism-Youth Policies-Policies for Wellbeing e Olympics-Paralympics Milan Cortina 2026 (Chaired by Councilor Vasile Angelica and Councilor Giungi Alessandro)
Agenda: "Inspection of the ice rink in Via Ciclamini 23". They will be present:

  • for the Municipality of Milan: the Director of the Sports Area Mario Almasio and the Official Luca Panzetta;
  • for the sports structure the President of the Agorà Company that manages the arena, Dr. Pompeo Guarnieri.

The meeting is at 11,00 in front of the entrance to the Palazzetto dello Sport in Via dei Ciclamini 23.

OUTCOME:

The representatives of the Agorà company, concessionaire of the facility, and the designers led the councilors inside the ice rink with the aim of showing the state of affairs and the renderings and plans regarding the project for the construction of the new ice rink. They explored some structural and logistical aspects, detailing what will be included in the new structure, specifying that this will not be dedicated exclusively to skating and hockey, but open to the neighborhood and equipped with rooms for study, relaxation, a spa and a new rink to be used for training and curling competitions. The councilors asked questions on certain aspects to which answers were provided.

Council Commission European Funds PNRR European and International Policies  e Anti-mafia (Chaired by Councilor Pacente Carmine and Councilor Pantaleo Rosario)
Agenda: The PNRR in Lombardy and the interests of organized crime. He'll be there:

Dr. Alessandra Dolci, Deputy Prosecutor at the Public Prosecutor's Office of Milan - District Anti-Mafia Directorate.

OUTCOME:

The session focused on the possible interests that mafia-type criminal organizations can pour into the economic-commercial sectors benefiting from the upcoming investments of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). For this purpose, the Deputy Prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Milan at the District Anti-Mafia Directorate was interviewed, who analyzed the different economic areas and the possible infiltrations of the underworld, as well as the role of investigations and the related legislation in relation to the repression of crimes . The councilors present were able to share their reflections on the matter and the implications on the socio-economic development of the entire Milanese urban area.â € ‹â €‹ â € ‹â €‹ â € ‹â €‹ â € ‹
