OUTCOME:

The session focused on the presentation of a project aimed at the creation of a local action plan against Islamophobia, which in turn is part of a broader field of action aimed at combating discrimination against women, in this case dedicated to the harassment suffered by Muslim girls. The councilors present were able to delve into the merits of the monitoring and listening services activated in the local area.

OUTCOME:
The Councilor for Social and Housing Policies, assisted by some managers of the State Property and Heritage Directorate, presented the tender plan relating to the assignment of the spaces, located on the ground floor and on average not exceeding sixty square meters each, owned by the Municipality from Milan. A brief excursus was also proposed regarding the allocations granted in recent years to Third Sector associations and, albeit to a lesser extent, to profit operators. Some Councilors raised the case of the Branco association, a direct derivation of the neo-Nazi organization Lealtà e Azione, which is in the ranking for the assignment of a space in Municipality 8. During the session, the proposed Resolution no. 999/2021, which can therefore continue its administrative process in the City Council.

The General Director of Sogemi reported on the application of the Regulation for registration in the register of economic operators authorized to operate in aid of companies active in the wholesale markets of Milan, then fully answering the questions of those present.

The Councilor for Participation, Active Citizenship and Open Data and the Director of Civic Services, Participation and Sport provided specifications relating to the new Regulations for Participation rights and provided a report of the activities that were carried out relating to the same. The Councilors asked questions on the merits which were given exhaustive answers.

OUTCOME:

The President and CEO of A2A illustrated the partnership project with the Ardian investment fund which envisages a maxi joint venture controlled by the Lombard utility, which would inherit some assets and the customer base while the fund, of French private equity, would immediately provide a significant capital injection and its own wind farms. All this would considerably increase A2A's share of energy deriving from renewable sources with the consequent reduction in CO2 production.
This topic sparked an intense debate during which some Directors expressed their perplexities and doubts to which A2A managers tried to provide all possible clarifications. Given the prolongation of the debate, the discussion on the energy blackout that hit Milan several times last June was postponed.

The Councilors illustrated the provision in question, clarifying that it is a resolution with which the Council approved the start of a process for the definition of a Strategic Plan of policies and programs to promote the well-being of girls, boys and girls. girls and boys in Milan, the document developed in this direction as part of the “WISH MI” project and the use of the funds ex L.285/97 for the projects shared by the Directorates proposing the aforementioned resolution.

OUTCOME:

The Budget Councilor and the Chief Lawyer illustrated measures no. to the Commission. 1646-2021 and n. 1399-2021. At the end, the Vice President declared the two measures discussed and can, therefore, be submitted to the City Council for approval.
