OUTCOME:

The "Ageing in a Friendly City" Working Group, which collaborates with the Equal Opportunities Commission and is made up exclusively of women, explained what has been achieved so far, especially in the pandemic period, to make the hypothesis of a more organized and proximity, in the city, for the elderly. From some data presented by the same working group, there has been an increase in number, in recent years, in the 80 to 94 year age group (older people) and in gender, with the number of women being much more in the majority than in the past, in compared to that of men.

The Councilor for Housing and Social Policies also intervened, offering stimuli to the subsequent debate, which recorded some proposals for future change, in the socio-health and urban planning fields, to modify the current service policies and to create home-based more proximity, towards the elderly.

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Culture and the guests illustrated the contents of the Protocol for the safe reopening of live entertainment and event spaces. In particular, they clarified that one of the key points of the document is the evaluation of capacity in relation to the specific characteristics of the individual space to be occupied, without applying predefined and identical numbers for all spaces. They also pointed out that the Protocol focuses on the entire process starting from the sale of tickets until returning home at the end of the show. Some Councilors expressed considerations and formulated questions to which the Councilor for Culture, the Councilor for Security and the guests provided answers.

Agenda: ATM Disciplinary Council: company hearing. ATM representatives will be present.

OUTCOME:

The joint session took place on the basis of the measures taken by the Disciplinary Council internal to ATM (made up of three members appointed by the union, three appointed by the company and the president appointed by the municipality) following the investigations involving a few months ago , some managers, officials and employees of ATM as a consequence of the reports relating to the signaling of the MM metropolitan lines and the maintenance of the tunnels. Since it was not possible to hear any of the members of the Disciplinary Council, the meeting was adjourned to another date.
