OUTCOME:

The Head of the Rights, Inclusion and Projects Area of ​​the Rights and Severe Marginalization Unit, the President of the Home for Battered Women and the representative of the Anassagora Center illustrated the services made available to help women victims of violence during the COVID emergency period -19, underlining the importance of the new 1522 application which allows you to ask for help via chat. Some data referring to the year 2019 were also communicated in relation to the number of women who were assisted. The debate focused on the communication campaign in favor of these services, on the structures used to welcome women victims of violence and on the psychological assistance service.

Agenda: Covid 19 emergency: acquisition of hotel facilities - Hotel Michelangelo - to host Milanese citizens in difficulty during the quarantine period; The following will participate in the work of the Commission:

OUTCOME:

The Councilors described the methods through which the Administration signed an agreement with the ownership of the Michelangelo hotel for the use of the structure as a residence for people in quarantine who cannot return to their families. They explained that the structure, which has 305 rooms that will host as many people who will be guaranteed meals, laundry washing, the possibility of communicating with the family and medical assistance, will be managed in collaboration with the Region, ATS, Prefecture and the Association of Volunteer Doctors. They highlighted how these residences are essential to avoid the transmission of contagion within the family and communicated the preparation of further structures to accommodate both this type of person and doctors and nurses who fear transmitting a possible contagion to their family members. The councilors expressed appreciation for this operation and asked questions regarding both the access methods and the economic aspect, indicating other solutions that could increase the offer. The Councilors provided answers to the questions.

Agenda:  checks and controls by the Local Police in the context of the coronavirus emergency. Vice Mayor/Security Councilor Anna Scavuzzo present.

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Security and Deputy Mayor of Milan provided indications regarding the actions implemented relating to the Local Police. He specified that it has adapted to the new needs following the evolution of the situation in order to protect everyone; services incompatible with the emergency were temporarily suspended while ordinary services were maintained. All agents have been equipped with the necessary tools for the safety of their health and in case of interaction with third parties. The Councilors asked questions on the merits which were given exhaustive answers.

Agenda: Civic services and digital transformation during the Covid emergency. Physical and digital branches, enabling smartworking for municipal employees and digitalisation of institutional activities. They will be present:

OUTCOME:

In the presence of the Councilor for Digital Transformation and Civic Services, as well as the top managers of the Civic Services, Participation and Sport Directorate, the activities implemented by the Administration for the Covid-19 emergency regarding Smart Working for municipal employees and digitalisation of Civic Services for citizens. To this end, it has strengthened the technological infrastructures, setting up a task force for the management of the emergency itself, and offering technological support to all the Directorates to develop the projects appropriate to the situation. The councilors offered their contribution with suggestions and indications.

Agenda: Application of extraordinary measures and/or layoffs within ATM and MM with the participation of Dr. Stefano Cetti – General Director – and Dr. Emanuela Teatini – Director of Organization and Human Resources.

OUTCOME:

The leaders of ATM and MM illustrated the actions implemented to protect staff from both a health and economic point of view to deal with the COVID emergency. It was pointed out that both companies, each in their own area, are guaranteeing operational services in the area and that the administrative services are operating in smart working mode. A debate followed during which the Councilors asked questions to which the guests provided answers.
