OUTCOME:

The Superintendent of the Penitentiary Administration of Lombardy, the directors of the Milanese penal institutions and the head of the Penitentiary Health Operational Unit provided information on the state of the Covid19 epidemic within the prisons and on the measures taken to avoid the spread of the virus inside these structures. What was put in place made it possible to effectively contain the infection, so the number of inmates who fell ill was greatly reduced. The Councilors asked for some clarifications which were promptly answered.

Agenda: "Hearing of the new members appointed to the ATM Board of Directors". The ATM General Director Dr. will participate. Arrigo Giana.

OUTCOME:

The session was based on the hearing of the newly elected members of the Board of Directors. of A.T.M., recently installed at the top management of the important Milanese public transport company. Following the personal presentation of the new executives, all of the highest managerial level, the councilors were able to ask their questions about the professional path of each of them and the motivations that led them to apply for these prestigious management positions.

Agenda: "Approach project update and proposals for communication during the Covid-19 emergency. The following will be present:

OUTCOME:

The Councilor recalled that the APProach project is aimed at European citizens who reside in another State of the Union.
He reported the commitment to provide assistance in the language through specially trained call center operators and to create a section dedicated to the Covid 19 emergency on the APProach online platform by uploading specific content and information. He also recalled the implementation of the protocol on translations and the organization of digital thematic events to understand the needs of foreign citizens, including non-EU citizens, residing in Milan and provide information on the opportunities put in place by the municipal administration to respond to the emergency phase in progress.
A debate followed during which the Councilors asked questions to which the Councilor provided answers.

Agenda: prospects for reopening school building sites" Will be present: Paolo Limonta, Councilor for School Buildings; architect Franco Zinna, Director of the Neighborhoods and Municipalities Department; architect Elena Nannini, Director of the Schools Technical Area.

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for School Buildings illustrated the methods for reopening school construction sites, suspended or never started due to the health emergency, then answering the Councilors' questions, also regarding summer schools and the teaching methods that will be implemented in the new year school, in September.

Trijoint Council Commission for Urban Planning-Private Construction-Milan Agricultural System, Mobility-Transport-Environmental Policies-Energy-Civil Protection-Animals-Green and Social Policies-Health Services-Volunteering (Chaired by Councilor Ceccarelli Bruno, by Councilor Monguzzi Carlo and by Councilor Vasile Angelica)
Agenda: Cycling actions Phase 2 COVID 19. The following will be present: Councilors Marco Granelli, Pierfrancesco Maran and Dr. Stefano Riazzola.

OUTCOME:

The Councilors and Offices illustrated the strategy that the Administration intends to implement so that the city faces the Covid emergency phase and the subsequent one when the means of transport will not be able to receive the same number of passengers that they previously absorbed and citizens will have to keep the prescribed distancing, trying to reduce private vehicle traffic and promoting gentle mobility. They explored the main changes that have been planned, indicating the various types of pedestrian paths, for bicycles and scooters, the creation of Zone 30. They also underlined the need for the city to review the timetable starting from that of the offices and of the Companies. The councilors expressed their opinions on what they had seen and asked questions on some details to which the Councilors provided answers. Having noted that other councilors have asked to intervene but that the time available has expired, the Presidents order the continuation of the work at a subsequent meeting.
