OUTCOME:

The Guarantor for people with restricted freedoms summarizes the letter sent to the managers of penitentiary institutions, in which he invites them to carry out joint work that will contribute to containing the spread of the pandemic within penitentiary institutions. The guests shared the spirit of the letter and highlighted what they are doing and proposing to ensure that prisoners and prison officers can face this phase in the safest way possible. Data are also provided regarding the "second wave" within the Institutes, which make this period worse than the spring months. The councillors, after having expressed appreciation for the letter sent by the Guarantor and for the work that the guests and the offices in charge of them are carrying out, ask some questions to which the guests and the Guarantor respond in order to offer a clear picture. The President expressed her willingness to reconvene a session once the situation has stabilized.

OUTCOME:

The CEO of A2A and his collaborators, with the architects, illustrated the project for the construction of the skyscraper in the shape of a "severed cone", which will host the new headquarters of A2A, in Piazzale Trento, near the Scalo Romana. They also detailed the plan for the disposal and valorisation of the other six buildings owned by the Company, where the employees are currently located, all of whom will converge in the new building from the spring of 2025. Finally, the guests responded fully to the questions posed to them by the Councilors and the President.

OUTCOME:

The General Secretary of the Municipality of Milan and the Colonel at the head of the Milan Operations Center of the Anti-Mafia Investigation Directorate illustrated to the Commission the Pact for the Strengthening of Prevention for Anti-Mafia purposes, which was signed by the Prefecture and the Municipality of Milan, with the objective of defining appropriate operational anti-mafia prevention strategies, implementing controls in relation to anti-mafia documentation, which must be presented by business activities subject to the authorisations, licenses and SCIA regime. The Commission's debate therefore took place on anti-mafia prohibitions, on the procedures that are adopted, on the timing of checks and on money laundering activities.

OUTCOME:

After the brief summary of the contents of resolution no. 249, already dismissed by the Commission, on behalf of the Councillor, the citizen Committees have explained the reasons why in their opinion the provision should exclude every area from the possibility of increasing the maximum building index by 20% compared to the PGT, granted by the Regional Law n. 12 of 2005. Subsequently, the representatives of the trade associations of builders and real estate developers expressed their opinion and, on the other hand, complained that the aforementioned resolution was too restrictive. Some Councilors also spoke, reiterating the theses expressed during the previous session dedicated to the topic.

OUTCOME:

The School Building Councilor reported on the progress of contracts no. 52, 53, 54 of 2020 relating respectively to: the arrangement of classrooms as a result of the health emergency; renovation of false ceilings and raising of parapets; the construction of 50 new roofs in as many school buildings as well as maintenance work on the rainwater drainage systems. The Councilors asked for clarifications on some schools to which the Councilor gave a comprehensive response.
