Trijoint Council Commission on Equal Opportunities - Civil Rights, Social Policies and Services for Health, Volunteering and Education, Education, University and Research (Presided by Councilor De Marchi Diana, Councilor Vasile Angelica and Councilor Pontone Marzia)
Agenda: A city fit for children: the Guarantor of rights for children and adolescents of the Municipality of Milan. They will be present:

  • Laura Galimberti, Councilor for Education and Instruction;
  • Silvio Premoli, new Guarantor for the Rights of Children and Adolescents
  • Anna Maria Caruso, outgoing Guarantor.

OUTCOME:

The outgoing Guarantor summarized the work she has carried out in recent years, while the new Guarantor for the rights of children and adolescents illustrated what will be the guidelines that will inspire him in the coming years. The councilors and councilors of the Municipality have highlighted some points which in their opinion are important for which they have asked the Guarantor for greater attention. The latter shared the proposed notes and reiterated his intention to establish constant collaboration with the council commissions and other institutional bodies

Joint Council Commission on Budget-Taxes-State Property-Purchasing and Mobility-Transport-Environmental Policies-Energy-Civil Protection-Animals-Green (Presided over by Councilor Conte Emmanuel and Councilor Monguzzi Carlo)
Agenda: Resolution no. 229 Tax Management and Control Area Subject: Approval of Tari tariffs - Waste Tax - Year 2020 and concessions Resolution no. 231 Water Resources and Environmental Hygiene Area Subject: Approval of the economic and financial plan of the integrated waste management service, including separated, urban and similar waste, of the Municipality of Milan - Year 2020, for the purposes of applying the relevant municipal tax (tari) - year 2020.


OUTCOME:

The Councilors illustrated the two provisions in question in depth, focusing on their salient points. The Councilors made suggestions, some of which will be translated into amendments, and hoped for convergence on possible changes relating to the application of TARI tariffs. At the end of the examination, the Presidents declared resolutions no. discussed. 229 and n. 231 which can be sent to the chamber for subsequent compliance.

Agenda: Schools and cities: access spaces. Presentation of the Unlock_Scuole project by the Polytechnic of Milan and illustration of the Municipality of Milan's plan aimed at promoting access to schools. They will be present:

  • the Councilors Laura Galimberti and Marco Granelli.

OUTCOME:

In the presence of the Councilor for Mobility and Public Works, the detailed plan of the Municipality of Milan for the safe return of pupils and students to their school premises was illustrated. At the same time, an environmental study carried out by some professors of the Polytechnic on the location and morphology of the school buildings was exhibited, divided by complex and educational levels, in order to highlight the spaces and methods of access to the schools themselves. The counselors present were able to express their opinion on the school entry procedures set up to avoid gatherings during entry and exit times.
