Agenda: "Milan Foundation - Civic Schools", on Tuesday 4 February next. at 17.30 pm. They will be present:

OUTCOME:

The General Director and the President of the Milano Scuole Civiche Foundation illustrated the projects and activities of the training institution. The union representatives complained about the continuous reduction of resources provided by the Municipality of Milan to the Foundation. The Councilors asked for information on the partnership, on the future single headquarters and on the dedicated portal, to which exhaustive clarifications were provided.

Agenda: inspection  at Nocetum, Società Cooperativa Sociale in Via San Dionigi 77, Milan (MM3 stop Porto di Mare or bus 93). "Knowledge and in-depth study of the work of the Association for the peripheral neighborhood and commitment to the tourist development of the area". President Gloria Mari will be present.

OUTCOME:

The President of the Coop. Sociale Nocetum has summarized the history that led to this structure and the activities it organizes today. You underline that all the work carried out does not rely on third-party funding, other than sums deriving from participation in tenders. The councillors, congratulating themselves on the work accomplished, noted the absurdity of the legislation which prevents the Administration from proceeding with a renewal of the concession which expired in 2018, avoiding participation in a competition; they have, therefore, committed themselves to experimenting with a path that avoids this procedure for Associations that have a social value and are linked to the territory. I was therefore led to view the various activities that the Cooperative manages.

OUTCOME:

The "Boschi Di Stefano House Museum", the object of the inspection, is located near the Lima metro stop and is a building built to a design by the architect Piero Portaluppi in the early 1998s. The collection of works on display (a selection of three hundred paintings, drawings and sculptures from the over two thousand acquired), the fruit of the extraordinary passion of the spouses Antonio Boschi and Marieda Di Stefano, includes the main protagonists of the Italian artistic scene of the twentieth century (Sironi, Savinio, Fontana, Baj, De Chirico, Vedova and others). Since 3 the exhibition space has been managed by the Foundation of the same name (with joint administration), established to settle the dispute between the Municipality of Milan, to which both the building and the collection and heirs were donated and therefore, to follow up on the will of the benefactors. The third floor of the building is still inhabited. To make the House Museum more accessible and visible, Councilor Del Corno, his counterpart from Municipality XNUMX and some Councilors of the same Municipality have proposed integrating the name of the Lima metro stop with the wording Casa Museo Boschi Di Stefano. Finally, it was specified that officially it is a collection only, since for its nature as a museum to be certified, certain parameters must be met (the so-called museum services). The Foundation promotes research activities and art workshops and in the summer, hosts musical evenings.

Council Commission  Social Policies and Health Services, Volunteering (Chaired by Councilor Vasile Angelica)
Agenda: “Presentation of the film Cuore di Bambola. The protagonist Veronica Tulli, despite the difficulties caused by her illness, does not give up her dream of becoming a singer." The director of the film Antonio Di Domenico will be present and will illustrate the film and its construction.

OUTCOME:

The guest presented the film inspired by Veronica Tulli, a girl suffering from osteogenesis imperfecta, so-called brittle bone syndrome, who, despite the disease, demonstrates her strength and determination by performing as a singer. You also underlined the attempt to provide a different vision of disability and the need to "normalize" it.
A debate followed during which the Councilors expressed their appreciation for the work carried out, hoping that it can be promoted and disseminated.

Agenda: "Clarifications regarding suspicious assignments of MM municipal houses". They will be present:

OUTCOME:

The President of MM, with the help of his management staff, provided information and clarifications regarding the cases of housing assignment, reported as suspicious by an investigation prepared by a newspaper. This presentation was followed by a lively debate in which the Milan Metro repeatedly reiterated its correctness in the work carried out so far.

The meeting of the Members is set at 10.00am in Via Alghero at the corner of Via Nuoro (MM Gorla) where they will go by their own means.

OUTCOME:

The Councilors visited the former Rizzi Inox area, noting its serious state of abandonment, which has continued since 2002. With the officials of the Environment Sector, present at the inspection, the steps of both the disputes with the company that had in leasing the area, as well as remediation responsibilities. The President of Municipality 2 declared that in 2018 Municipality 2 had decided to include the reclamation and redevelopment project for public use of the area as a priority in the 2018-2020 PTO, but without having received any feedback to date. At the end, the President declared that all the necessary documentation will be collected to prepare and approve an Agenda in the Council, in order to start the procedures for the reorganization of the area.

Agenda: Urban safety directorate Del. 176 circ. 280, Subject: recognition of off-balance sheet debts, pursuant to art.194 Legislative Decree 267/2000 paragraph 1, letter A) deriving from the payment of legal expenses for unfavorable executive judicial measures issued by the Judicial Authority in against the Municipality of Milan in appeals against the violations ascertained by the Local Police for a total of Euro 5.294,49 relating to the judicial measures received in the period 16/10/2019-31/10/2019 Urban Safety Directorate Res. 184 circ. 288, SUBJECT: recognition of off-balance sheet debts, pursuant to art.194 paragraph 1, letter A) of Legislative Decree 267/2000 deriving from the payment of legal expenses for unfavorable executive judicial measures issued by the Judicial Authority against the Municipality of Milan in appeals against violations ascertained by the Local Police for a total of Euro 5.088,43, relating to the judicial measures received in the period 01/11/2019-30/11/2019. OUTCOME:

The Security Councilor and the Director of the Security Area have provided specifications relating to resolution no. 176 and 184 relating to the recognition of off-balance sheet debts deriving from legal expenses foreseen for cases followed by the Local Police. At the end the President deemed both Resolutions discussed

Agenda: Lombardy Film Commission. They will be present:

OUTCOME:

At the beginning of the session, the letter in which Regional Councilor Galli declined the invitation to appear at the hearing was read, arousing conflicting reactions: some considered it inadmissible and others reasonable. Subsequently, Councilor Del Corno illustrated the state of the art relating to the Lombardia Film Commission Foundation and specifically recalled that the position of President of the same is vacant, following the resignation of the previous holder. This, he reported, was the cause of a significant stall in its operations and a downsizing of audiovisual production. The Councilor, however, noted that the city of Milan is a national leader in audiovisual production and one of the most important on the continent. Furthermore, a clearer stance was requested towards the Lombardy Region to appoint a new President in order to overcome the current impasse.
