OUTCOME:

The guests reported that approximately 100 thousand Milanese people, aged between 15 and 65, use narcotic substances, 8.661 of whom are in the care of drug addiction services (SerT). They also announced that 91% of young people between 14 and 17 years old use cannabinoids and that the most used substance is heroin (31%).
The Councilor hoped that the Lombardy Region would launch a new phase of investments aimed at services dedicated to addictions, announcing the desire of the Municipal Council to restore the "drug green line", a toll-free number to contact for information and guidance on services, and to carry out an information campaign in schools.
A debate followed during which the Councilors asked questions to which the guests provided answers.

The Councilor for Social, Housing and Disability Policies of the Lombardy Region, as well as the representatives of Aler and the Polytechnic of Milan, illustrated the tender for the leasing of 10 Aler spaces for non-residential use in the San Siro district, with renovation costs paid by the assignees, providing 80% financing, while the remaining part will be deducted from the rent. Last date to participate is April 15th. They therefore provided answers to the questions formulated by the Councillors, announcing that if no proposals that include an entrepreneurial nature were received, Aler Milano reserves the right to assign the real estate units to projects of an exclusively social nature.

The Director of the Training and Work Area of ​​the Municipality of Milan and the Head of Safety and Prevention of ATS Metropolitan City of Milan illustrated to those present the initiatives aimed at raising awareness among companies and workers regarding the measures and procedures to be adopted to protect health in the workplace, which, in addition to directly involving working contexts, especially medium-small sized companies, extend to educational institutions of all levels (in this regard, the motion of President Specchio is recalled ). OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Education gave specifications relating to the "Open Schools 2.0" project, highlighting the aims: promotion, support and valorisation of actions for the full implementation of the right to study and educational success, the prevention of dropout and school escape and conflict management of students in Milan schools; the objectives: to encourage the opening of school structures (in particular lower secondary schools) outside of normal lesson hours so that schools become places of inclusion, overcoming discrimination and opportunities for expanding the educational offering; the tools: collection of school needs; creation of an online platform; experimentation and dissemination of Open School models, also thanks to the collaboration between the Municipality and the Territorial School Office. The Councilors asked questions on the merits to which exhaustive answers were given.

OUTCOME: 

In the presence of the Sports Councilor, the President of Milanosport presented the redevelopment projects for the sports facilities and swimming pools, listing the construction details of the available areas and spaces. The councilors present were thus able to comment, in addition to the planning inherent to the spaces, the turnout data for the students and their companions.
