OUTCOME:

The tour covered the municipally owned structure, built at the beginning of the last century and in a somewhat dilapidated state, which long ago housed the De Montel stables but above all, it was an opportunity for the winners to present of the international competition, the fate that will interest it (Thermal Resort) and the environmental sustainability characteristics that will distinguish its functions.

Agenda: The experimental experience of Casa Arcobaleno. They will be present:

OUTCOME:

The Head of the Rights and Serious Marginalization Unit of the Municipality of Milan, together with the representatives of the social cooperative Spazio Aperto Servizi and the Lotta contro l'Marginazione cooperative, illustrated the experimental project of Casa Arcobaleno, which has the aim of providing support and housing to victims of discrimination based on sexual orientation. They therefore provided a response to the requests for information formulated by the Councilors regarding the reports received, the management, the psychological-educational support and the financial support.

Joint Council Commission on Innovation, Transparency, Digital Agenda, Civil Status and Anti-Mafia (Chaired by Councilor Arienta Alice and Councilor Gentili David)
Agenda: Continuation of Anti-Corruption Plan update. The General Secretary Dr. will be present. Fabrizio Dell'Acqua.

OUTCOME:

The last session of the process that will lead to the presentation of the 2020 Anti-Corruption and Transparency Plan took place in the presence of the General Secretary. The topics addressed were integrated with previous discussions, based on the indications provided by the various Directorates. The councilors present were thus able to provide their contributions for the improvement of the definitive text.

Agenda:  Resolution no. 181 Circ. 286 Budget and Subsidiaries Directorate Single Planning Document (DUP) and Budget Forecast 2020-2022. Councilor Roberto Tasca will be present.

OUTCOME:

The Budget Councilor illustrated to those present the main items of the Single Programming Document 2020-2022, then answering the Councillors' questions on the merits.

Agenda: Forecast Budget 2020 - Mobility and Transport Directorate. Councilor Marco Granelli will be present.  

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Mobility and Transport provided specifications regarding the 2020 budget forecast of the Mobility and Transport Directorate, going into detail on the "Income and Expenses" relating to some expenditure items. The Councilors asked questions on the merits which were given exhaustive answers. At the end the Presidents considered the topic concluded.

Agenda: Three-year Public Works Plan 2020/2022. Councilor Marco Granelli will be present.

OUTCOME:

The Councilor and the Offices recalled the new procedures for the drafting and publication of the Three-Year Program of Public Works introduced with the Decree of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport n. 14 of 16 January 2018. They also highlighted the destination of important investments to the Mobility and Transport Directorate, linked in particular to the infrastructure of public transport lines and road maintenance, to the new Environmental Transition Directorate, to the Schools Technical Area and to the Home Management.
A debate followed during which the Councilors asked questions to which the Councilor provided answers.

Agenda:  Support project for the unemployed in Lorenteggio - ESF funds. Will participate:

• Dr. Ada Fiordelli - Afol Metropolitana Project Contact.

OUTCOME:

The Councilor for Employment Policies illustrated the Lorenteggio project consisting of active inclusion paths to improve the employability of people in conditions of temporary economic difficulty. With this initiative we aim to help at least 200 citizens residing in that neighborhood, through training courses prepared by AFOL, to enter the world of work.

Agenda:  inspection at the crafts laboratory of the CAST (Territorial Social Assistance Centre)-Casa Mara reception center for the marginalized. .

The meeting of the Members is set at 11.00am in Via Pascarella 20 where they will go by their own means.

OUTCOME:

The Commission went to visit the spaces of the voluntary association "Il Laboratorio Onlus", which has the aim of welcoming people with social disadvantage and disabilities, carrying out training and work activities in artisan workshops. The Councilors visited the furniture restoration and cement vase production workshops, as well as the tailoring workshop, where children's clothes are made.

Agenda:  Forecast Budget 2020 - Social Policy Directorate. Councilor Gabriele Rabaiotti will be present.

OUTCOME:

In the presence of the Councilor for Social and Housing Policies and the top executives of the relevant Directorate, the presentation of the 2020 Budget forecast concerning the Directorate itself took place. The expenditure items expected for the current year have been listed regarding services for the elderly, minors and families, as well as services for adults and families in serious difficulty and social inclusion. An important separate chapter concerned services for disabled people.

Agenda: inspection at the Institute for the Blind in via Vivaio,10 - meeting with Dr. Rodolfo Masto, Extraordinary Commissioner of the Foundation.

OUTCOME:

The Councilors visited the institute for the blind in via Vivaio, also learning information relating to the Institute's activities from the President of the Foundation.

Agenda: Forecast budget 2020: Sports, Tourism and Quality of Life Area Management. Councilor Roberta Guaineri will be present.

OUTCOME:

The Sports Councilor and the offices illustrated in depth the contents of the 2020 budget forecast, highlighting how Current Expenditure and Current Income have remained substantially unchanged compared to the 2019 balance sheet. They pointed out that the largest item of current expenditure refers to the centers sports and that most of the revenue is linked to the proceeds from the Arena Civica and the S. Siro Stadium.
The Councilors raised some observations and formulated questions to which the Councilor and the Offices responded exhaustively.

Agenda: Forecast budget 2020: Security Department. Councilor Anna Scavuzzo will be present.

OUTCOME:

The Security Councilor illustrated the 2020 budget relating to the Directorate of the same name, highlighting that the expected allocations are very similar to those reported in the 2019 Budget, with the exception of the resources allocated to the equipment and clothing of the Local Police officers which provide for an expenditure, in 2020, of 1.850.000 euros while in 2019, for the similar budget item, an allocation of 750.000 euros was expected.

Agenda: Hearing of Dr. Hilal Elver, UN Special Rapporteur on the right to food. They will be present:

• Deputy Mayor Anna Scavuzzo,
• the doctor Andrea Magarini coordinator of the Food Policy Office of the Municipality of Milan 
• by Dr. Bernardo Notarangelo President of Milano Risorazione.

OUTCOME:

Deputy Mayor Scavuzzo, together with the Mayor's Delegate for Food Policy and the President of Milano Ristorazione, explained to those present and in particular to the United Nations Delegate for Food Policies and the fight against world hunger, Dr. Hilal Elver , who, in her report, outlined the topic on a global level with some references to the regional territorial dimension, the tools adopted by the Municipality of Milan to combat this phenomenon (fight against food waste, short supply chain, use of organically grown raw materials , sustainability). What emerged was the need to give continuity to the ethical vocation that marked the 2015 Universal Exhibition, to allocate more resources to Food Policies and to identify suitable initiatives to raise awareness among citizens on the topic.
