The members of the two Commissions, before embarking on the visit, were entertained by the managers of the PACTA Salone (the President and Artistic Director of ScienzaInScena, the Artistic Director of DonneTeatroDiritti and the Technical Director and Set Designer), who recalled the history of the structure (formerly CRT), reported the works to reorganize and bring the spaces up to standard (with a cost of over two hundred and fifty thousand Euros), recalled the centrality of the initiatives implemented for this peripheral area and the appreciation shown by the residents, illustrated the poster of the current season and complained about some critical issues; essentially concerning: the difficulties in obtaining funds to finance the activities and the Suburbs Plan and related announcement, the latter considered to be far too vague and confusing. This was followed by the actual inspection which covered some of the internal spaces.

The Sports Councilor gave specifics regarding the Dossier on the Milan - Cortina candidacy for the 2026 Winter Olympics, highlighting the Governance, Security, Budget, transport and facilities available to accommodate all the expected people. The Councilors asked questions on the merits which were given exhaustive answers.

In the presence of the Councilors for Culture of the cities of Milan and Turin, as well as the Artistic Director and President of the "MiTo SettembreMusica" Festival, a careful reflection was held on the latest editions of the prestigious musical event, which has involved the two cities for over a decade in a cultural event that has now risen to the international cultural scene. The councilors were able to appreciate the spirit that animates the festival by the organizers themselves who have been able to create a model of cultural dissemination that is also appreciated beyond national borders.

OUTCOME: 

The Budget and Environment Councilors presented resolutions no. 121 and 122 related,
respectively, the Economic and Financial Plan relating to the investments to be made in AMSA for 2019 and on the costs of waste collection, cleaning of streets and green areas and the calculation of the TARI which, while keeping the concessions unchanged, provides for a reduction of the overall amount to 300.918.905,41 2019 euros in 301.475.073,46 compared to 2018 euros in XNUMX. After an intense debate, the Presidents of the Commissions declared the resolutions discussed and can now be evaluated by the City Council.
