Agenda: Inspection at the Day Center for the Elderly under direct municipal management in via Giolli, 29

OUTCOME:

The Commission went to visit the directly managed Elderly Day Center in via Giolli 29; the Service Coordinator accompanied the counselors on the visit, showing, in the meantime, the various works carried out by the elderly. The Councilors agreed on the need for there to be other structures that offer various social-welfare services in order to promote their psychophysical well-being.

OUTCOME: 

The Commissioners went to Cascina Basmetto, located in via Chiesa Rossa n.265, where they examined the conditions of this structure, dating back to 1350, whose owners cultivate Carnaroli rice. In particular, the latter have reported the problems connected with a building plan, envisaged by the PGT, which involves the construction of buildings in the immediate vicinity of the structure with the acquisition of the garden currently included in the perimeter of the Cascina.
