OUTCOME: 

Representatives of the Keep the Planet Clean Association explained the excellent results achieved regarding the project for the separate collection of waste in prisons, which now reaches percentages close to 90%. The project was also illustrated, which consists in the transformation of the single-container bins in the Barona Village Park into bins to be used for separate waste collection. The Commission, after having responded to some requests for information, expressed its appreciation for this laudable initiative.

Agenda: State of fact relating to the Cemeteries of Milan.
Councilors Gabriele Rabaiotti and Roberta Cocco were invited to the commission.

OUTCOME: 

The Councilors for Public Works and Civic Services and the relevant offices illustrated the current situation of extraordinary and ordinary maintenance interventions at the city cemeteries, as well as the new constructions planned, in relation to the Cemeteries Master Plan, whose approval is to be part of the City Council is expected in the autumn.

Agenda: Compliance with the rules on remuneration, contribution and social security obligations and contrast, by Sogemi, with the avoidance of the obligations to transfer ownership of the company or business branch" 
The General Director of Sogemi Stefano Zani will be present.

OUTCOME:

The Commissioners informally carried out the inspection at the Cascina Library, as the legal number of Councilors present, capable of making the session valid as required by the art., was not reached. 8 paragraph 1 of the Council Commission Regulations.

Agenda:  M4 situation.
Councilor Marco Granelli and Dr. Filippo Salucci will be present at the Commission's work.

OUTCOME: 

The Councilor for Mobility and the Director of the Mobility Directorate have given specifications relating to the reconstruction of the "M4 affair" from 1997 to today; specifically, the following points were highlighted: the first study hypothesis, the GC resolution of September 1998 with which MM was appointed to develop the definitive project, the second route hypothesis, the state funding requested in 2003, in March 2006 the CIPE approves and finances the project for the first time, the establishment of the definitive route, the awarding of the tender for the search for the private partner to whom to entrust the construction and management of the M4 line, the approval of the definitive project of the entire line, the approval of the first supplementary act to the M4 Convention. The Councilors expressed their reflections on the merits. At the end, the President highlighted the need to convene further commissions regarding the topic.

Joint Council Commission Institutional Affairs Metropolitan City and Municipality and International Affairs, Post Expo, European Policies (Chaired by the Councilors Censi Arianna and Pacente Carmine)
Agenda: The Metropolitan Table on European policies and local municipalities.
The General Director of the Metropolitan City Antonio Sebastiano Purcaro will be present at the meeting.

OUTCOME: 

The Director General of the Metropolitan City, with regard to the subject of the session, confirmed the difficulties in the action of the body he directs regarding the coordination and essential synergy of the possible conduct for obtaining European funds and nevertheless reported the signs of a trend reversal that have recently been recorded. In this regard, he declared the positive role that the Metropolitan Roundtable has played thanks to the development of the relevant Strategic Plan.

Joint Council Commission Labor Policies, Economic Development, Productive Activities, Trade, Human Resources and Security and Social Cohesion, Local Police (Chaired by the Councilors Specchio Laura and Pantaleo Rosario)
Agenda:  Presentation of the reorganization plan of the Local Police.
The following will be present at the Commission:

  • the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Security, Dr. Anna Scavuzzo
  • the Commander of the Local Police, Dr. Marco Ciacci
  • the Area Director, Dr. Marina Ristori.

OUTCOME: 

The Deputy Mayor and the Commander of the Local Police and the Offices illustrated the reorganization plan of the Corps, entering into the merits of the various aspects and focusing on the most significant innovations introduced by it and the improvements that this should bring both to the organization of the Corps and to life of the city. The councilors expressed their opinion and asked some questions to which detailed answers were provided.
