Council Commission Joint Policies for Labour, Economic Development, Productive Activities, Trade, Human Resources and Verification e Control of Participatory Bodiesi(Chaired by the Councilors Specchio Laura and De Pasquale Fabrizio)

Agenda: Problems for fixed-term workers as a result of the application of the dignity decree to investee companies.

The managers of the personnel offices of the investee companies and a delegation of the trade unions will be present.

OUTCOME: 

The representatives of the Human Resources Departments of Milano Ristorazione, AMSA and SEA, described the current situation of their respective companies, regarding fixed-term workers, explaining that at the moment there are no emergencies related to the soon-to-be-approved Decree, called the "Dignity Decree". They then responded to the observations of the Councilors and Trade Union Representatives present. The President of the Investee Companies Verification and Control Commission however claimed that, in his opinion, there will be management problems and failure to confirm personnel currently in the workforce at the Investee Companies, once this Decree comes into force.

Council Commission Joint Urban Planning, Private Construction, Milanese Agricultural System Anti-mafia (Chaired by Councilors Ceccarelli Bruno and Gentili David)

Agenda: In-depth analysis of the motion "Inclusion in the Anti-Corruption Plan of a rule that obliges private entities to declare the beneficial owner"

Will be present: Marco Dettori President Assimpredil Ance, Lawyer Riccardo Preti di Aspesi and Franco Zinna Director of the Urban Planning Department.

OUTCOME: 

The Presidents listened to the observations of the representatives of the business and real estate categories as well as of the Director of the Urban Planning Area, on the motion concerning an addition to the Anti-Corruption Plan of the Municipality of Milan, which will soon be brought up for discussion in the council chamber.

at 11.00 am - Inspection

Council Commission Joint Tourism, Territorial Marketing, Wellbeing, Sport and Leisure e Culture, Fashion and Design (Chaired by Fumagalli Councilors Marco Carlo and Turco Angelo)

Agenda: Inspection at the Mysterious Baths.

The Councilor for Sport, Lawyer Roberta Guaineri or her delegate, the Director of the Sports Area, Dr. Mario Almasio, the Delegate of the Department of Culture, Dr. Silvia Tarassi and the Deputy Director of the Franco Parenti Theater, Dr. Marco Flego will be present.

OUTCOME: 

In the presence of the Sports Area Director of the Municipality of Milan and some managers of the Pier Lombardo Foundation, the inspection took place at the Bagni Misteriosi (formerly the Caimi Bathing Centre). The councilors were able to view the definitive restoration of the entire complex, taken over by the Foundation in 2013, and the functionality of the bathing facilities, as well as the groundwater purification system used for the swimming pools, which is still the most advanced of Europe.

Council Commission Joint Institutional Affairs Metropolitan City and Municipality and Innovation, Transparency, Digital Agenda, Civil Status (Chaired by the Councilors Censi Arianna and Arienta Alice)

Agenda: Draft proposal for the new Merits-Famedio Regulation, continuation, observations and discussion.

OUTCOME: 

President Censi highlighted that the Technical Offices have reported the technical, not political, difficulty of achieving the application of the new Merits-Famedio Regulation immediately; therefore the Councilors agreed to continue the work and conclude it despite knowing that its applicability horizon will fall in 2019.

Council Commission Mobility, Transport, Environmental Policies, Civil Protection, Animals and Green (Chaired by Councilor Monguzzi Carlo)

Agenda: Continuation of the debate on road changes to Via Sarfatti, Corso San Gottardo and Via Ascanio Sforza.

Councilor Marco Granelli will be present at the Commission's work.

OUTCOME: 

The Commission continued the debate, started last July, with the participation of the Councilor for Mobility and the Navigli Inhabitants Committee, on the pedestrianization of via Sarfatti and via Ascanio Sforza. In particular, the changes to the road system that will be made in that area were illustrated to avoid congestion on the roads, used by cars, to flow towards the southern part of the city, which will remain passable.

Council Commission Education, Education, University and Research (Chaired by Councilor Limonta Paolo)

Agenda: Point on school building interventions in Milanese schools.

Participants will be: Councilor Laura Galimberti and School Building Area Managers.

OUTCOME: 

The Councilor illustrated slides showing the current state of the contracts relating to the maintenance of school buildings. She focused on some points and provided timely information. The councilors asked questions regarding certain buildings and asked about the possibility of activating certain procedures. The Councilor and the Offices have answered the questions thoroughly and provided the requested clarifications.

at 10.00 am - Inspection

Council Commission Innovation, Transparency, Digital Agenda, Civil Status (Chaired by Councilor Arienta Alice)

Agenda: Inspection at the Greco Cemetery.

OUTCOME:
The Commission went to the Greco Cemetery together with the competent Manager and the Manager of the City Cemeteries Contract Supervision Operational Unit, in order to view the interventions to remove the architectural barriers that have been carried out and the maintenance status of the Cemetery itself.
