Agenda: Update on EMA and strategy for European funds.

OUTCOME: 

The Mayor's Chief of Staff updated the Commissioners on the situation regarding the awarding of EMA in Amsterdam and on the actions, including appeals to the competent judicial authorities, adopted by the Municipality of Milan on the matter, given the incorrect methodology adopted, to opinion of the Administration, in the exclusion of Milan as a candidate to host the Medicines Agency.
Updates on possible awards of future European funds were also presented.
A debate followed during which many Councilors expressed their opinions on the matter and presented some requests for clarification on the topic under discussion to which the Offices promptly responded.

Joint Council Commission Social Policies and Services for Health, Volunteering and Education, Education, University and Research (Chaired by Councilors Vasile Angelica and Limonta Paolo)
Agenda: Presentation by ATS of the sexual education service in schools.
The ATS Social Health Director of the Milan Metropolitan Area, Doctor Silvano Casazza, will be present.

OUTCOME:

The managers of the ATS Metropolitan City of Milan illustrated the 2018 Integrated Local Health Promotion Plan with particular reference to the interventions to be carried out within school communities for the promotion of health and the prevention of risk factors.

Joint Council Commission Equal opportunities and civil rights and Labour Policies, Economic Development, Productive Activities, Commerce, Human Resources (Chaired by the De Marchi Councilors Diana Alessandra and Specchio Laura)
Agenda: Illustration of the Single Guarantee Committee with the participation of Dr. Federica Tassara, President of the Single Guarantee Committee and the Director of the Organization and Human Resources Department, Lawyer Valerio Iossa.

OUTCOME:

The President of the Single Guarantee Committee (CUG), the Mayor's Delegate for Equal Opportunities and the Director of Human Resources illustrated to those present the functions and objectives of the CUG for the next three years. In relation to past management (2016/first quarter of 2018), some highly critical elements emerged from the 58 reports from staff received by the CUG (in particular: hourly flexibility and internal mobility).

Council Commission for Education, Instruction, University and Research (Chaired by Councilor Limonta Paolo)
Agenda: Registration situation for summer centers and summer 2018 holiday homes.
The following will be present: Councilor Laura Galimberti and the Director of the School and Educational Services Sector, Sabina Banfi.

OUTCOME: 

The Councilor for Education and Instruction and the Director of the Education Department gave specifications relating to holiday homes and summer camps, highlighting the 2018 data compared with 2017, in reference to registrations, tariffs and recovery of insolvencies. The Councilors asked questions on the merits to which exhaustive answers were given; they requested the convening of a commission with Milan Ristorazione as its object.

Council Commission Institutional Affairs Metropolitan City and Municipality (Chaired by Councilor Censi Arianna)
Agenda: Municipalities from an institutional point of view: The presidents of Municipal Councils 6,7,8 and 9.
The President of the Council of Municipality 6 Doris Zaccaria, the President of the Council of Municipality 7 Norma Iannacone, the Vice President of the Council of Municipality 8 Ermanno Gargano and the President of the Council of Municipality 9 Luca Edoardo Perego will participate.

OUTCOME:

In the presence of the major representatives of some of the Milanese municipalities, a discussion session was held on the institutional performance of these local realities, thus carrying out an initial assessment two years after the entry into force of the Municipal Decentralization reform. The councilors present were thus able to learn about the problems inherent to the functioning of the new institutional bodies, entering into the merits of the working dynamics and their optimization. A debate ensued that enriched the panorama of possibilities that the reform left open.
