OUTCOME: 

The Councilor for Labor illustrated the deliberative proposal, already examined in a previous session, the representatives of the members of the Welfare Foundation, Chamber of Commerce and trade union organizations, motivated the need to make the statutory changes, as indicated in the provision under examination .
After a heated debate, in which criticism was expressed by some Commissioners on the content of the document in question and on the operational methods used for its discussion in the City Council, the deliberative proposal n. 82 was declared discussed.

Agenda: Project: Women Beyond the Walls.

OUTCOME: 

The representatives of the ABCittà, Alice and Il Gabbiano cooperatives illustrated the “Donne Oltre Le Mura” project, a project to support the social and working integration of adult women in situations of deprivation of freedom. They therefore responded to the requests for information made by the Councilors regarding job placements and job grants.

OUTCOME: 

The Councilors and Offices described the long and complex process, started in 2010, which has now led to the resumption of work for the construction of the Disabled Day Center in via Anfossi. They explored the problems that caused the work to stop and the contract with the company that won the tender to be terminated, and then, after further time, the executive project was redone and a new contract was signed with another company. They highlighted the improvements to the original project and the choice to open the structure to the territory. The councilors analyzed the difficulties that the Administration had to face and shared the choices made in the new project. They also asked some questions to which the Councilors and Offices provided answers.

Agenda: Action plan for the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of city roads.
Councilor Marco Granelli was invited to the Commission's work.

OUTCOME: 

The Councilor for Mobility and the Environment and the Directors of the Sector have given specifications regarding the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the roads and the related resources used for the various interventions; Furthermore, it should be noted that approximately 2018 road maintenance interventions will be carried out between April and May 310. The Councilors asked questions on the merits which were given exhaustive answers.

Agenda: Masterplan illustration of the Expo lands drawn up by the Lend Lease.
Councilor Pierfrancesco Maran, Arexpo managers and municipal technicians who followed the project process were invited to the Commission's work.

OUTCOME: 

In the presence of the Councilor for Urban Planning, Green and Agriculture and the top managers of Arexpo, the master plan proposal for the urban transformation projects relating to the Expo 2015 lands was illustrated, drawn up by the company Lend Lease, the agent company of a consortium which awarded the public tender for the development of the area. The resulting debate allowed the councilors to learn more in detail about the numerous projects affecting that portion of territory, which plays such a strategically important role for the future development of the city. Taking into account the importance of the topic, and the numerous interventions still expected, the President has ordered the continuation of the debate at a future session.

Agenda: Situation of the workers of the Cenacolo Vinciano.
Participants will be: Cenacolo workers, Councilor Cristina Tajani.
The trade unions will be present.

OUTCOME: 

In the presence of Councilor Tajani, the workers of the Cenacolo Vinciano and some of their trade union representatives explained the reasons that led to the call for the state of agitation of all the staff assigned to the ticket office and the bookshop (specifying that the strike proclaimed for the 21st next April was suspended following the calling of a meeting for the previous day). The maximum solidarity of the Administration and the members of the meeting Commissions was expressed and suitable tools to support the struggle of the staff of the same museum complex were identified, despite the awareness of the limited prerogatives of the Municipality of Milan in this matter.

URBAN PLANNING DIRECTION - THEMATIC PLANNING AND AREAS ENHANCEMENT AREA

Ratification, pursuant to art. 34 of the legislative decree 18 August 2000 n. 267 and art. 6, paragraph 11, of the regional law 14 March 2003, n. 2, of the adhesion of the Municipality of Milan to the supplementary act to the "Program agreement for the qualification and development of the Lombardy trade fair system through the creation of the external center of the fair in the Pero-Rho location and through the redevelopment of the urban center ” (approved with legislative decree no. 58521/1994 and subsequent additions and amendments) in order to coordinate the forecasts with the “Program Agreement for the realization of Expo 2015 and the redevelopment of the area following the event”.

Councilor Pierfrancesco Maran and the municipal technicians who followed the process of the Resolution were invited to the Commission's work.

OUTCOME: 

The Councilor for Urban Planning and the Director of the Urban Planning Department presented resolution no. 87 which provides for the resolution of existing interference in the external center of the Fair on the Pero - Rho site by identifying suitable and shared solutions for the relocation of the interfering structures and infrastructures , without prejudice to the functionality and operation of the exhibition center and guaranteeing the urban transformation process in the post-Expo phase. In particular, the need to move some car parks, foreseen in the plan for the Expo, and to reduce their capacity was highlighted, after having assessed the new needs of the area. After a brief debate, the President of the Commission declared the resolution to be discussed and can now be evaluated by the City Council.

Council Commission Tourism, Territorial Marketing, Wellbeing, Sport and Leisure (Chaired by Councilor Fumagalli Marco Carlo)
Agenda: Presentation of the Territorial Marketing Plan.

OUTCOME: 

In the presence of the top executives of the Metropolitan Marketing Directorate, the Territorial Marketing Plan was presented which intends to promote the Milan brand to an international audience, through the YesMilano project which contemplates, among other strategies, a better use of digital communication through the strengthening of the platform web CRM. The declared objective is to consolidate the excellent moment that the city is experiencing on a tourism level, as well as to strengthen its image especially abroad, in order to further develop both its tourist and business attractiveness. The councilors were thus able to animate a debate full of proposals on the possible ways of using the city's attraction poles, which Milan has in various fields of interest.

Agenda: Future of ATM: budget, contract, tender, new hires, security.  
The following will be present: Councilor Marco Granelli and the ATM managers.

OUTCOME:

The Councilor, the President and the ATM General Director illustrated the state of the Company and the future prospects in light of the extension of the service contract approved by the Council. They focused at length on the most relevant aspects, regarding efficiency, control, security and budget, highlighting the guidelines along which the Company will move during the 2 and a half year extension. The councilors asked several questions aimed at delving into the various aspects of the relationship. The Company Managers and the Councilor responded exhaustively, reserving the right to carry out further investigations relating to some aspects in the near future

Agenda: Evaluation of the Commission regarding the contributions of the Municipal Presidents.

OUTCOME: 

The President summarized, with the help of the Councilors, the problems exposed by the 9 Municipalities during the previous meetings: lack of staff, lack of financial autonomy, failure to apply the regulation on the new decentralization. Before drawing up a summary document, to be submitted to the Council in the form of an Agenda, it was agreed to listen to the General Director, the Budget Councilor and the Municipal Directors in the Commission.
