Joint Council Commission: Equal Opportunities and Civil Rights and Employment Policies - Economic Development - Productive Activities - Trade - Human Resources (Chaired by Councilors De Marchi Alessandra and Specchio Laura)
Agenda: Projects to combat violence against women and proposals for the valorisation of female projects.
Participants will be: Dr. Caradonna Marcella - President of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Milan and Dr. Riccardo Bettiga - President of the Order of Psychologists.

OUTCOME:
The Presidents of the Accountants and Psychologists informed about the initiatives, promoted and to be implemented by the Orders they represent, relating to the fight against violence against women, in particular resulting from economic and psychological dependence. 
At the end of the debate between the Commissioners and the speakers, the Commission Presidents committed themselves to fruitful collaborative work with these institutions, in order to integrate and improve the anti-mistreatment network already present in the city, thanks to the specific skills of the Orders present to the session.

Council Commission: Subcommittee Prisons - Penalties and Restrictions (Chaired by Councilor Pirovano Anita)
Agenda: 
Inspection at the Bollate Prison located in Milan - Via Belgioioso, 120; Meeting between the municipal subcommission and the joint commissions of the prison.
 
OUTCOME: 

The Subcommission went to the Bollate Prison to meet the assembled Commissions of the Prison. During the debate, various issues were addressed, including those of temporary hospitality, job grants and voluntary activities of people deprived of personal freedom, interviews with family members, lack of specialist doctors at the prison facility, renewal of driving licenses and A.T.M. subscriptions. controlled in favor of prisoners who benefit from alternative measures to detention. The President of the Subcommission has made a commitment to organize a further meeting in approximately six months.

Joint Council Commission: Urban Planning - Private Construction - Milanese Agricultural System, Suburbs and Social Policies and Health Services - Volunteering (Chaired by Councilors Ceccarelli Bruno, Osculati Roberta and Vasile Angelica)
Agenda: Presentation of RSA Via Adriano.
The following were invited to the Commission's work:

OUTCOME: 

The Director of the Urban Planning Department and the representatives of the Proges Cooperative presented the “Adriano Community Center” (ACC) project, aimed at recovering the building, partially built and then abandoned due to the bankruptcy of the construction company, to create: a 100 places, a CDI, apartments intended for vulnerable users, a medical home with a clinic, an exhibition space, a WeMi desk and an auditorium. Thus making the ACC a model of intergenerational relationships and the social hub of the Adriano neighborhood.

Agenda: Presentation MILAN FOOD CITY.
Participants:

  •  representatives of Confcommercio and the Feltrinelli Foundation.

OUTCOME: 

Councilor Tajani and the representatives of Fiera Milano, Confcommercio and Fondazione Feltrinelli illustrated the program of events of the "Milan Food City", focusing particularly on the projects aimed at the redistribution of food through solidarity projects, food education, well-being and to the ethnic-cultural peculiarities of food.

Council Commission: Social Policies and Health Services - Volunteering (Chaired by Councilor Vasile Angelica) 
Agenda: inspection at the WEMI Loreto space.
Gabriella Nerucci from the Project Office of the Social Policy Directorate will be present 

OUTCOME:

The commissioners went to the solidarity bookstore in Via Porpora 43/47 to visit the activity carried out on site by this neighborhood bookshop, which actively collaborates with the WEMI Loreto space in via Sabaudia 8, for the benefit of their clients, thus providing a concrete point of reference. The initiatives implemented so far were presented, such as the home delivery of book loans, thus inserting a cultural element into the panorama of home care, which cannot and must not be limited to purely healthcare. During the presentation, a debate developed which involved the councilors who agreed in considering this type of social welfare work carried out in the area to be profitable.
