OUTCOME:

In the presence of the Councilor for Education and the major municipal managers of the Education Area, the presentation of the new dimensioning of the Milanese schools took place, updated with respect to the new needs of the school population, while maintaining what has worked in recent years, and trying not to force merging situations, precisely to respect specific educational paths built with effort over time.

Council Commission Verification and Control of Participated Bodies (Chaired by Councilor De Pasquale Fabrizio) 
Agenda: Water service activities of the MM Sewerage Sector.

OUTCOME:  

The director of the MM Wastewater and Purification Area illustrated the history and state of development of the Milanese wastewater system as well as the operational methods used to keep the system efficient. Furthermore, technological innovations relating to the experimental use of the sewage system to produce heat and projects aimed at reusing the waste materials from the Milanese purifiers were presented.

Council Commission Home – Public Works - Erp (Chaired by Councilor D'Amico Simonetta)
Agenda:  Results and critical issues one year after the Memorandum of Understanding on evictions for innocent arrears signed between: Prefecture of Milan, Bar Association of Milan and Municipality of Milan.
Participation in the Commission is expected:

OUTCOME: 

The representatives of the U.N.E.P. (Notifications, Enforcements and Protests Office), of the Bar Association, of the Ambrosiano Welfare Foundation and of the S.U.N.I.A. (National Unitary Union of Tenants and Assignees), the Director of the Municipality Development Area, the Director of the Rent Policy Area and the Housing Councillor, discussed the memorandum of understanding signed in May 2016 by the Municipality, Prefecture, Court of Milan, Bar Association, which provides for the provision of a contribution to the assignees of accommodation, of whom "inculpable arrears" is demonstrated, as well as a sort of negotiation with the owners of the accommodation. Some Councilors also spoke regarding the concrete application of the Memorandum of Understanding and they all agreed that some mechanisms need to be reviewed, which undermine its actual effectiveness.

Agenda: Inspection in the Tirana/Giambellino district.

OUTCOME: 

The joint council commissions Home-ERP and Security and Social Cohesion, together with the Councilor for Security, carried out an inspection at Via Giambellino, Segneri, dei Sanniti and degli Apuli, in order to verify the existing uncomfortable situation.

Agenda: Health and safety in the workplace: illustration of the activities of the "Centre for the culture of prevention in the workplace and life". Will participate:

OUTCOME:  

The Councilor, the offices and the guests comprehensively explained the activities of the Center for the Culture of Prevention, illustrating its aims and the ways in which it wants to spread this culture. They also focused attention on the critical issues emerging in some sectors to try to make the problem understood. The councilors expressed their support for the path undertaken and asked for some further information which the President assured that she wanted to follow up on.

Agenda: Activities in anticipation of the 2019 Leonardesque celebrations.

OUTCOME: 

The Councilor for Culture and the Area Director of the Superintendence of Castello, Archaeological Museums and Historical Museums gave specifics relating to the "Milan and Leonardo's Legacy" project, highlighting the Memorandum of Understanding for the celebrations of the fifth centenary of Leonardo's death by Vinci and the various initiatives planned. Given the high relevance of the project, the Department decided to involve other institutions with the aim of creating a new Schedule. At the end, the President announced that she would like to meet again in six months.
