Agenda: Universities in prison – The university centers in penal institutions and the present and future forms of collaboration between the Milanese universities and penal execution. Representatives of the Milanese universities, the Superintendency and the managements of the penitentiary institutions will be present.

OUTCOME:  The President recalled the collaboration between Milanese universities and penal institutions for having made concrete, for some years now, the possibility for restricted people to access university education thanks to the presence of university centers inside the prisons of Bollate and Opera.
The representatives of the Milanese universities illustrated their respective projects and the courses offered, underlining the importance of a network that connects the universities to each other.

Agenda: Illustration of the guidelines for issuing a public notice aimed at identifying operators interested in allocating properties for temporary rental to deal with housing emergency situations.
The participation of Councilors Gabriele Rabaiotti and Pierfrancesco Majorino is expected to participate in the Commission.

OUTCOME: The Councilor and the Offices illustrated the content of the Council resolution which intends to identify operators interested in allocating properties available to them for temporary rental to deal with housing emergency situations. They specified that this method involves making the space available for 5 years, while those who settle there will be able to stay for a maximum of 18 months. They underlined how the solution adopted represents a way to ensure that people in need, families who are no longer able to pay the rent of the private accommodation in which they lived, have time to find another accommodation or to register to the ERP rankings. The councilors, after expressing appreciation for the initiative, carried out thanks to sums made available by the Region, focused on some specific aspects and asked questions, to which the Councilor provided timely answers.

Agenda: 2017 budget forecast: Urban Economy and Work Directorate - Fashion and Design. Councilor Cristina Tajani will be present.

OUTCOME: The Councilor for Labor Policies, Productive Activities, Commerce, Urban Planning illustrated the 2017 budget estimate of the Urban Economy and Work, Fashion and Design Directorate which provides for an overall spending commitment of 5 million euros aimed at increasing labor policies with various projects, honor service contracts with Sogemi, Afol and to support training activities also at the Accademia della Scala and the Castello Sforzesco School. After providing the clarifications requested by the Councilors, the topic was considered discussed.

Agenda: 2017 Budget Forecast: Social Policy Directorate. Councilor Pierfrancesco Majorino will participate.

OUTCOME: The Councilor illustrated in depth the contents of the 2017 Budget Budget of his Department, focusing on specific parts and highlighting how there is growth compared to last year's estimate and stability compared to the 2016 balance. He also specified certain aspects of the intervention implemented by the Management. The councilors raised some observations and asked questions aimed at asking for further explanations to which the Councilor and the Offices responded exhaustively.

OUTCOME: The Councilor for Mobility and the Environment, after having reassured that there will be no reductions in the service of surface lines, illustrated the main items of the Budget relating to his Department. highlighting that approximately 10,5 million euros of spending reductions have been expected. The Councilors intervened asking for clarifications and information on numerous budget items to which, given the time that has passed, the Councilor reserved the right to respond to in the next session.

Agenda: 2017 Budget Forecast: Urban Planning Management. Councilor Pierfrancesco Maran will be present.

OUTCOME: To the illustration, by Councilor Maran and Dr. Zinna, Director of the Urban Planning Sector, of the 2017 Budget Forecast document relating to the Urban Planning Directorate, follows a series of requests for clarification essentially relating to the expenses for reclamation, external consultancy, the high number of abandoned buildings present in the City, the management of existing public parks and those soon to be built and more generally to the guidelines of the urban development of the City.

Agenda: Hearing by Dr. Paolo Natale of the University of Milan who will present the data of the research carried out by the University's working group on the quality of life in the 40 neighborhoods of Milan.

OUTCOME: The session focused on the presentation by Prof. Natale of the University of Milan of the research on the quality of life in Milan, carried out on a random sample of resident citizens, dividing the city into 40 neighborhoods. The presentation of the final data and their interpretation was followed and discussed by the councilors who also reported their direct experience, almost in harmony with the perception expressed by the citizens interviewed.

Agenda: Anti-corruption and transparency plan. Councilor Lorenzo Lipparini, General Secretary Simonetta Fedeli and Deputy General Secretary Mariangela Zaccaria will participate.

OUTCOME: During the session, the Councilor for Active Citizenship Participation and Open Data, Lorenzo Lipparini, the General Secretary, the Deputy General Secretary and some managers of the General Secretariat Offices, illustrate the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Plan of the Municipality of Milan. The ensuing debate focuses on the responsibilities, obligations and roles envisaged in the document.

OUTCOME: The Councilor and the Offices illustrated in depth the contents of the 2017 Budget Forecast, confirming for the Sports Sector the sums of support for basic sporting activities, the chapter that refers to sporting events and the city's traditional leisure initiatives . They also highlighted the increase in resources allocated to the development of tourism.
The Councilors raised some comments and formulated questions to which the Councilor and the Offices responded exhaustively.

Agenda: Hearing of the Councilors and Presidents of the Culture Commission of Municipalities 1, 2 and 3 regarding cultural activities and projects in their Municipalities.

OUTCOME: The Councilors and Presidents of the Culture Commissions of Municipalities 1, 2 and 3 illustrated the activities carried out so far since the beginning of the mandate, the future cultural projects and the problems that affect these Bodies such as, for example, staff shortages and reduced resources available. The Commissioners expressed their appreciation for the proposed projects and took note of the difficulties that the Municipalities are encountering in their work.

Agenda: 2017 Forecast Budget: Urban Safety Directorate.

OUTCOME: The Security Councilor illustrated the main forecast items of the 2017 Budget of the Security Department, then responding in detail to the questions posed by the Councilors, in particular with respect to the method of notification and raising of sanctions for non-compliance with the Code of the Road and the Department's projects in the area.
