Agenda: Inspection at the primary school in Via Moscati n. 1. The participation of Councilor Gabriele Rabaiotti and the technicians of the competent technical area is expected in the Commission.

OUTCOME: 

The Commissioners went to the school in via Moscati, 1 to evaluate the conditions of the school building in the presence of the Councilor for Public Works and the municipal technicians who illustrated the renovation project of the same, the tender notice for which will be published next August and foresees an auction starting price of 4.200.000 euros. Representatives of the teaching staff and parents highlighted the need for further interventions, beyond those foreseen, such as the installation of a lift for the disabled, external stairs to facilitate evacuation in case of emergency and the renovation of the gym. The municipal technicians took note of the requests but it was highlighted that, as the tender is close, it is not possible to make changes to the executive project.

Joint Council Commission Equal opportunities and civil rights and Labour Policies, Economic Development, Productive Activities, Commerce, Human Resources (Chaired by the De Marchi Councilors Diana Alessandra and Specchio Laura)
Agenda: Young women, stereotypes and the roots of discrimination at work.
Dr. Eleonora Voltolina, journalist and writer, will participate.

OUTCOME: 

Dr. Voltolina, director of the online newspaper "La Repubblica degli Stagisti", highlighted a difference, linked to gender, in employment prospects, also pointing out how the choices that determine people's professional future lead women to be disadvantaged in the world of work despite having a higher level of education than in the past and being more brilliant in their studies than men.
He then announced that a focus has been dedicated to the topic of young women at work in the Best Internship 2017 guide, which can be downloaded for free online.
A debate followed during which the Councilors asked for some clarifications to which the guest responded.

Agenda: Update on issues related to the situation of Città Studi.
The following were invited to the commission's work: Councilor Pierfrancesco Maran and representatives of Municipality 3.

OUTCOME: 

The architect Balducci, appointed by the Municipality, presented in the presence of the Councilor for Urban Planning the project for the movement of some university faculties to Città Studi and the simultaneous movement of other faculties from Città Studi to the former Expo area. The result was a composite debate, involving representatives of the State University and citizen committees, as well as some Councillors, at the end of which the President closed the session.

Council Commission Budget, Taxes - State Property and Purchases (Presided over by Councilor Count Emmanuel)
Agenda: FINANCE AREA AND TAX CHARGES

Application of the provisions set out in the art. 11 of the Legislative Decree n. 50/2017 converted with Law 21 June 2017 n. 96 and simultaneous approval of the Regulation concerning the facilitated settlement of tax disputes relating to municipal taxes.
The measure does not involve any expense

OUTCOME: 

Councilor Tasca illustrated the proposed resolution no. 49, in application of article 11 of the Legislative Decree. 50/2017, with which citizens who have pending tax disputes with the Administration will be allowed to pay the tax immediately without increasing the penalties.
A debate followed during which some requests for clarification on the topic were presented by the Commissioners to which the Councilor provided timely answers.
The President therefore declared the resolution proposal under consideration to be discussed and can therefore continue its process in the council chamber.

Agenda: GENERAL URBAN PLANNING AREA

Municipal obligations in implementation of the art. 4 paragraph 1 of the Regional Law 10 March 2017, n. 7, concerning: "Recovery of existing basement rooms and rooms" and consequent urban-building regulations.
Councilor Pierefrancesco Maran was invited to the works.

OUTCOME: 

The Councilor and the Offices illustrated the content of resolution no. 48. They specified the contents and underlined which exclusions the Municipality intends to propose, as permitted by the Regional Law. n. 7. The councilors intervened in part by supporting the provision and in part by contesting some specific points and requesting new sessions, providing for the hearing of trade bodies and associations. The President, at the end of the debate, declaring that he does not want to deny the City Council an opinion on the provision, declares the same to be discussed and sends it to the City Council for examination

Joint Council Commission Labor Policies, Economic Development, Productive Activities, Trade, Human Resources and Culture, Fashion and Design (Chaired by the Councilors Specchio Laura and Bocci Paola)
Agenda: Joint project between the Municipality and the Mise for the new fashion week in September.

OUTCOME: 

The Delegate for the Fashion Industry at the Ministry for Economic Development and Dr. Renato Galliano, of the Urban Economy and Work Directorate, in the presence of Councilor Tajani, illustrated the terms of the agreement between the Municipality of Milan and the Ministry regarding the fashion week scheduled for next September in the city. The brief debate that followed highlighted the need for greater involvement of the peripheral areas of the City for this type of event and the recomposition of the entire production chain on national soil.

Agenda: Situation of Day Centers for Disabled People.
Councilor Pierfrancesco Majorino and Dr. Daria Maistri will be present at the hearing.

OUTCOME: 

The Councilor for Social Policies and the Managers of the relevant sector have given specifications relating to the organizational development of services and the new organization of day services for people with disabilities. The Councilors asked questions on the merits; Councilor Forte requested the reconvening of the commission to be able to discuss in more depth the reorganization of the CDD. The President, after accepting the councilor's request, considered the topic to be discussed.

Agenda:  "Hearing of Councilor Anna Scavuzzo for a discussion on family, school, education and school agreements implemented by the Municipality of Milan".

OUTCOME:

In the presence of the Councilor for Education, the framework of the public policies of the Municipality of Milan with respect to the world of education and the related school agreements implemented by the institution was illustrated.

Programming 2017-2019 - Change in the General Adjustment of the financial budget and verification of the budget balances - Recognition of the State of Implementation of the Programs.

OUTCOME:  

The Budget Councilor illustrated the main changes in the general adjustment of the financial budget. The Councilors intervened asking for clarifications and information on numerous budget items, to which the Councilor responded promptly. At the end of the debate, the Commission considered resolution no. discussed. 50, which will continue its process in the City Council
